The part you were looking at with at least 13 mosques that we call "Old Egypt" it was a walled city from old times why so many mosques for two main reasons one like i said it's a big city with a wall. and also we have five prayers a day, so you need a place near to you so you can pray and in the old times you can go on horse or just walk, so they built mosques near to every part of the city The second reason is that mosques in the past were not only for prayer but for academic work, scholarly discussions and many other fields.

I traveled Egypt back in July 2017. This country is absolutely stunning. It’s ancient history, culture, food, diversity, landscape, architecture, language has fascinated me. Egypt is magical. The people of Egypt are friendly, hospitable and generous. Old islamic cairo is incredible. I have also visited all these places that you have showed in this video. I am planning my second trip to Egypt next year. I am curious which background music did you use in this video? It’s absolutely soothing as it gives a middle eastern, Arabian and nomadic vibe that best represents Egypt.

Depending of how you define "Cairo" , if you mean the adminstrative and historical cairo (the 1000yro city) which spans from the nile east bank to the desert edge then yes. But if you mean Cairo as in the egyptian Capital megalopolis aka Greater Cairo that spans from the Western desert to 50km west of the suez canal which has a diameter of over 100km of urban expansion that have been built for 5000 years and still being expanded with new cities containing over 30 million residents and daily commuters then no.

I lived in Suez, Egypt 🇪🇬 in 1983 and visited Cairo, Luxor and Mount Sinai. The traffic was crazy then also. Mashallah is a common saying in all Arab countries and also in Turkey 🇹🇷.
