I got them a couple weeks ago and for being what they are and made of Chinesium, they aren't bad knives. They're for the average Joe, weekend camper or someone that wants a decent blade on a budget. I beat the snot out of the red one and it held up surprisingly well. Bushcraft knives they aren't, more of a small machete. They chop decent and baton well and for 3cr steel, hold an edge well. They do creak and pop in the handle but don't come apart or get real loose. They really shouldn't have the CS name on them either because they aren't made to typical CS standards or quality but GSM is a conglomeration of other "outdoor" companies and making money is the bottom line and getting the CS name into the Walmart special sector will do that for them. Hopefully their mainline knives retain the quality and durability CS is known for but, that is likely to not be the case in the future.

I think it was exclusive to Walmart

You forgot to mention whether or not they were sharp. Or blade length, or thickness, or weight. Knife stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion. I recently bought some calipers and a scale to have this in the future.

Looks like a cheap copy of the Kershaw Camp 10. It would be interesting if someone did a comparison. What's funny though is that Cold Steel already sells actual affordable bushcraft knives in the Finn Hawk and the awesome folding Finn Wolf. I'm not sure why they chose to call this set "bushcraft" knives when they clearly are not.
