What was the scammer situation like? I went to Colombia it wasn’t all bad but you couldn’t relax and let your guard down. literally every 30 seconds someone was trying to sell me Coke, Mary Jane, or escorts. I also couldn’t go to the beach because I’m a Canadian Gringo so there were 20 people surrounding us aggressively trying to sell random stuff.

When you go, make some time for Carenero Island in Bocas. There’s the beach that most people go to and the water taxis will drop you at. Keep walking to your right (looking at the island from the dock). There’s a quieter one at the end of the island. Also- eat at Receta Michila. I went twice and I wasn’t even staying on that island. Best food in Panama I had in the 3 week trip.

Oh that is great to have you here in El Salvador. Maybe you can visit the carneval in San Miguel on saturday 30.november. or La Union from 28.11 til 14.12. If you are in La Union you can do a hike to the vulkan conchagua and stay overnight in a tent or at the hotel, its very famous there. Or you can make a trip by boot to Nicaragua or to the little islands in the golf of fonseca..... there are so many things to do and the people here are so friendly and nice. Enjoy the time

If you are in San Miguel you must visit the caves of Moncagua. The beach of el cuco is also very fa.ous. the little village is really great....

If your heading to Nicaragua, Don't forget to ship your drone to the next location. If you want some info about the south of Nica feel free to reach out, we're in San Juan Del Sur. Great Beaches for surf, Ometepe is the island with 2 volcanoes which is a must in my opinion.

Panama has black sand beaches in the Pacific as well. But if you want to see paradise, you have to make it to San Blas islands❤

How is the situation there right now?

@ It’s fine except for power outages every day. We are in a severe drought and electricity is generated from the hydroelectric system. Outages are supposed to be over the end of December. Right now no electricity 5 hours a day. Crime rate is improving. Majority of crime is cartel members killing each other. We live in a small town, Olón, on the coast between Salines and Manta, and it is peaceful here. We love it here!
