Have to admit when I first started to watch luke he was a bit green as a traveller , i felt proud when he didn't let that tuktuk rip him off. So many yt bloggers i watch pay waaaay over the price . Indian habits. They expect others to pick up their trash. The others being people from lower classes or castes who have sanitation jobs reserved for them by the government. Sanitation is considered a low job in India and higher classes have subjugated the ones beneath them to menial labour and cleaning duties since hundreds of years. When you come to India you'll see many things that'll make you mad, like the general hygiene, treatment of animals and homeless people and the constant heckling/scamming.

I went to Jaipur in my 8th class with my friends. And I asked the price of some bangles I wanted to gift my friend . And that shopkeeper told me the price 500 Rs and atlast I bought those bangles for only 40rs from him after bargaining 😂 these guys don't even leave Indians in scamming

Brother, all foreigners go to the same places in the same states. India is very big and show different states. Let's visit North East India this time. Come and see India, a state in the North East. Then when you come to India, you will not want to travel outside North East India. I give 100% gerenty. The North Eastern states are Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Nagaland,Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura. Come to any state at least once. The states are small and you will feel like you are outside India in some states.🙏

I am amazed at my own country, on one hand you have scammers who try to scam the life out of you but on the other hand you have innocence and helpfulness and giving things without expecting anything in return. Its just awesome how these two things just co-exist in the same country.

Please visit puri and odisha you will enjoy a lot there... And Bhubaneswar(the capital of odisha ) is very developed and the area around railway station and airport are more developed than downtown LA trust me.. also konark has beautiful UNSC heritage site (sun temple) and in North keonjhar district has a lot of beautiful waterfalls and also national park for tigers.. odisha has beautiful beaches and marine drives and you're going to enjoy a lot in Highlands of nayagarh district( can go there from a very less crowded superfast passenger train from bbs at morning) .. you will literally see clouds clashing at your face and you will love the view.. also you can hike mountains over there for free and people are very friendly..

the bumpy tuk tuk ride reminds me of the three wheel bike ride i had when i was a kid in my hometown, a countryside in china. every chinese new year my dad would take me back to our hometown. i got older and i stopped going back there cuz my relationship with my dad got pretty bad. as i get older i found out how drastically different our worldview and values are. i began to understand how abusive, traditional and uneducated my parents are, especially my dad. so i stopped talking to him since 3rd grade. now as a 25yo grownup im still being a total ass to him, a dying man diagnosed with terminal cancer. i know he loves me, i do too. but i cant forgive him for what he did to me, i cant tolerate his presence. occasionally i walk down the memory lane, pieces of memories in my carefree childhood hit me and i cry like hell like right now :(
