Glad you’re enjoying China, Luke. Went in 2008 and was such an amazing place. In the UK they may serve chips (not French Fries 😉) at Chinese and Indian Restaurants but only a small minority actually eat them, I never have chips with either as it’s not authentic in the slightest. Chips should stay in Fish and Chips.

Just found your channel and sub'd. Enjoyed the episode thoroughly. I was drawn to the title because I worked in SW China some 20 years ago and began to understand how polarizing the media can be. It's the business of 'us and them' in any number of given contexts, and it's total BS. There are dummies everywhere but by and the large, Chinese people were extremely well cultured, polite and eager to host me. I made lifelong friends there, and for the purposes of adventure travel and cultural immersion, the sky is the limit. Cheers from Vietnam where I'm doing some filming of my own ;)
