Jordan is a gem. We visited 2 years ago just before the pandemic and we were amazed. We found everyone to be very nice, polite, not pushy at all. Our only issue with it is we stayed only a week. We should have stayed longer. :) Petra, Wadi Rum, the dead sea, Aqaba, Amman, ranged from "nice" to "amazing and gorgeous". We had diner at Hashim as you did, recommended by our hotel staff. We were expecting to pay a lot more for the dinner, but we paid roughly the same amount you did. We loved the place.

Amman has a lot more than just what was shown... there are so many other cool old places that unfortunately no one shows! as for the Kunafah you can always ask for extra syrup and you can also ask not to have pistashio on it... thanks for the vlog

@@JumpingPlaces your videos are all great...and your Jordan trip was nice, but i was a bit disappointed because you did not visit the more modern part of Amman where things are very Very different to the downtown Balad where you stayed. Yes its a full of character part of the city, but there is the other side of Amman with beautiful cafes, resraurants, bars, hotels, malls and wonderfuly beautiful accomadation...that side of Amman is always ignored and not shown in travel videos... i dont know why?? On the nicer side of Amman there is a buzzing international very modern lifestyle, and there are lovely famous sites in Jordan...like the hot spring waterfalls or the Dead Sea spas, or the Baptismal site, or the only wild animal sanctuary in the Middle East something you could sample and explore perhaps another time.💖

I am living in Amman, Jordan since 2000, with my husband Jordanian and one son. What I like in Jordan, Firstly, peaceful, quiet, and safe. Secondly, delicious typical meals, sweets like baklava and kunafa, fresh fruits, and vegetables.Thirdly, people, customs, and traditions. The housing is unique and simple because houses are located on the mountain as it is, from the top view and down view, so higher stairways are built-up to reach the houses. Watch this video of Amman the capital city of Jordan, you will see everything. See you in Jordan, Good Luck...

Hi. Can I just say. When we stay anywhere abroad cos u need so much water we buy like a five gallon bottle of water and have a two.litre bottle to transfer some water in to it and put it in the freezer to freeze to take out with u the next day. It slowly will defrost during the whole day. Saves alot of money as u don't need to keep buying drinks. Or buy a bottle a two litre bottle of ice tea place in the freezer of where u staying and take it out the next day with u. So refreshing. And saves u money

Great with Arabic coffee. So glad to see u in Jordan.Looking forward to seeing it.Amman is busy but so much cleaner and less dusty and chaotic than Cairo and Giza.Market looked great! I often make my own hummus. So easy.Chickpeas, tahini, salt, pepper, fresh lemon juice, good EVOO to taste and blend.Serve with the best EVOO you can.Quality counts.I dip in veggies and use less pita.Cucumbers! I dip veggie kebabs in it.I make a sandwich with it on whole wheat toast with lettuce and tomato and some sweet onion slices.Ilike lots of freshly cracked black pepper on it.I slather it on grilled corn....

What a great jaunt to Amman AKA Philadelphia you two took! FWIW, Philadelphia means ' brotherly love'! Great seeing those ruins around the citadel with the museum showing off its astonishly ancient history. Just think it ALREADY was for a few thousand years when the Pharaohs built their pyramids! Oh, if you like Roman (and pre-Roman) ruins, there's quite a few to be found in Portugal and Spain- including the Teatro Romano in Lisbon! Portugal gets its name from the city of Oporto which the Romans named Portus Cale meaning 'port of Cale'- and it seems as though it might have been a Phoenician settlement ! Oh, and you two really lucked out on the dinners AND the desserts! YUM! Looking forward to your seeing other parts of Jordan (including the fabled Petra which is far more interesting than just being an 'Indiana Jones and the Lost Crusaders' backdrop)! Thanks for another fantastic tour and look forward to more!
