'Chaaya' is tea in the local language of Kerala which is Malayalam. Since this state has highest literacy rate in India, most of the people understand English as the medium of instruction in schools is English. English is spoken widely in South and Hindi in North India so please don't use Hindi in South India

Use goolgle for good restaurants for brekfast. Dont simply ran into some shops, when you see some snacks. Use your brain. Vada is not eaten with tomato ketchups. I think tamil people ( Tamil nadu state) eat vada with ketchups. 8:45 Paratha, naan is a north india food. Just check some kochi food vlogs or check some good foods spot, before eating from random shops. Because you ill get good and bad foods from every where. Kerala people have certain places to go for each types of foods. Just do alteast some research. If you want lazzi, gi to best lazzi rated shops. If you want to eat biriyani go to the best restaurants. Random try was not a good option. Understand the place and take a shot. 38:07 ginger tea or masal tea is not actually kerala tea. Its north indian. We normally takes just tea, black tea or coffee, black coffee. You didnt have the kerala tea. Which is the normal tea. Adding masal in everything is not a kerala thing.

We use different chutneys to eat that vada like coconut chutney, etc etc No one eats vada with tomato sauce and the person who brought the sauce is not a South Indian so I guess he doesn't know 😊
