"Broken Paradise": this alone brought tears to my eyes. I miss my home so much. Most of us are scattered around the world, but would move back in a heartbeat if basic necessities were met. Heck, most of my friend are thinking of moving back even in this awful situation. There's nothing like it in the world. The way we live our life and treat eachother is one of our best qualities.

My grandfather was born in Lebanon. In 1925 he went to Brazil, had 5 kids ( my father was one of them) then , he went back to Lebanon with my grandmother and died there. I was born in Brazil but moved the the USA 30 years ago. Someday I will visit Lebanon. My family last name is ABBUD.

My brother has lived in Lebanon for 6 years. Finally visited last year for 2 weeks and it was a life changing experience. My favorite country. Even when dealing with the worst economic crisis in the history of the world the people don’t get down on themselves. They’re still happier than the average American.

Hi! Someone knows if it’s mandatory to have a travel insurance? And if we can buy the tourist visa at the Beyrouth airport and how much it is ? Also if we have to pay it in cash or we can use our credit card thank you!
@bl7828
@bl7828 6 ай бұрын
@@anaparedes9005 I’m not sure. What my brother did is because he was technically teaching English even though it was private he was granted a visa where he has to leave every few months then re-enter the country. I wouldn’t do it now though, even he is about to leave the Middle East. It would take a serious conflict for his Lebanese friends to advise him to leave. Which they did.

Hey! Nice video ❤ As a Lebanese myself, I have to say this is very good portrayal of the country. I'm really sad and annoyed that many Lebanese - presumably including you - only know 5-10% of their country and would think that it's representative so no it's a very superficial portrayal of the country, it's what you'd see if you were a rich tourist, spent 3-4 days in Beirut, stayed in a fancy hotel and not really interacted with locals beyond buying ordering your food. Zeituna bay and mar mkhayel are representative of Lebanon?
@georgerahbani5157
@georgerahbani5157 Жыл бұрын
@goPlay Hey well I don't know why ure making all those claims about me. This video is a good touristic portrayal of Beirut. It should be relatively superficial. These people aren't Lebanese, and don't live there, and shouldn't be expected to create an in depth video covering the political and inter-ethnic nuances of low-socio economic neighborhoods with rich histories in beirut such as Ouzaii for example. This is a good portrayal of the city for tourists who came here to spend a few days and have fun while also being mindful of the troubled background of the city.

You're promoting tourism in a country that has no electricity, no functional economy, rampant inflation. Wait till your brain-dead viewers get the shock of their lives when they come to Lebanon. ''Oh no there is electricity. It is 40 degrees outside - i'm melting. How will I charge my iPhone??!''

Hi! Someone knows if it’s mandatory to have a travel insurance? And if we can buy the tourist visa at the Beyrouth airport and how much it is ? Also if we have to pay it in cash or we can use our credit card thank you!
