Aku pernah ke dubai. Bagiku beda sih. Disana begitu keluar bandara kayak dunia lain. Ga ada macet, ga ada sampah, ga ada kumuh, ga ada kaki lima, ga ada ruko pinggir jalan yg semrawut. Indonesian mall mostly consist of 2 to 8 floors, unlike EU or UK with promenade -outdoor shaped. Malls also functio as a samctuary from the sun. I know most European citizen loves sun, I know bcoz I know how it felt when I live there more than a year. But here, shades are what most of us look for. Pacific place may equal to Harrods, but without the same bramd identity accross the tenant. It is a premium and luxury mall. To compare, Brighton mall are similar to a residential area mall in suburan 😂
