1- the restaurant right next to the tanourin cedars forest is called "Eco Dalida" it is delicious, it opens on weekends 2- there is restaurants in tanourin, but also they open on weekends 3- Douma is a very beautiful village, and it is also a historical one, it was the place where they make big Bells for lebanese churches in old times, they have very good lebanese restaurants and they are open all year round... there is also an old Orthodox Monastery that is built in the 15th century. 4- the Balou Balaa (baatara Gorge) better to be visited in spring time (i had my friend visiting from Mississippi in April and May, She loved it) 5- the best Water fall to visit at the moment if you are still in the area is "Kfarhelda waterfall" (rich of water) it is in the middle between tanourin and batroun, you will signs to take you there.

@@worldnomac oh!!! In one of ur videos you asked what is the difference between town and village, well basically a town and a village in Lebanon are the same, the only difference that we call a village the town that is situated in the mountains, and the town the one that is close to the coast... (in lebanese dictionary) A city is the one has more than 10000 residents and has all life needings like schools and hospitals and entertainment centers and it has at the same time at least one church and one mosque (officially) for exemple jounieh (it is a city) but officially it is a town in lebanon because it does not have any mosque

You should have spent more time in Douma. It’s one of the most beautiful and most touristy villages in Lebanon. Beit Douma or Hotel Douma are great for lodging. There are great manouche shops that are open in the early morning. Try to attend Sunday service. It’s been the same traditional prayer for hundreds of years. You’ll hear Arabic church choir. It will give you goosebumps. There’s a delicious fish restaurant called “Chalhoub Restaurant”. There’s a monastery on the outskirts of Douma… about 10 minutes. St John the Baptist. There are Crusader remains there. Headsup you cannot record in this church that dates back to the second century. And make sure not to wear shorts or they will not let you enter. Amazing holy monastery. It was a roman temple. The building was demolished and remained as such till later centuries when several monks took over and rebuilt it. Then another church was added. The interior walls are painted with beautiful depictions of Saints. Leaving Douma there’s another village, Kfarhelda… great for restaurants on the river. One last recommendation. Try going to the city of Amioun. There’s another amazing church there near to there. Balamand. So much history.

I recognize that I dont like to do trekking, nothing at all, I,m not from this profile, its very tired, very exhausted, over through the mountains and with Heat and about to walk through the forest is even dangerous by fires, over in summer , I prefer open wides, I like to see the lanscape when Drive , all in general and when you are in the village I prefer to see It when you.are in the car cause you can apreciate it better and you can see village better or full than walking that It delays more, its funny to go in quad or a vehicle to.see the landscape,
