And our revolution of dignity did not end in the winter of 2014. That was just the beginning. Following the outbreak of war with russia, which continues to this day. Yesterday, October 14, we celebrated the Defender of the Fatherland Day. Now, today, in the east of Ukraine there is a war, a war for our honor, freedom and dignity. This war has been going on for five long years and cost thousands of lives of our soldiers who continued the work of the "Heavenly Hundred" - civilians who died on the Maidan in the winter of 2014. Our soldiers are fighting today, dying and pouring blood under the national yellow-blue flag. "Glory To Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!" - this is a military greeting to our Warriors. Our gratitude to the defenders of Ukraine!

It is very clean and beautiful. Additionally, I was a student leader at the prestigious IMO (Institute of International Relations or IIR) at T.S. National University. The Churches are truly amazing and the recent history around Independence Square make you realize how the people of Ukraine have made to many sacrifices, not to mention the German invasion of WW2. My Ukraine roommate (here in Los Angeles) MADE me watch that documentary on the revolution and I was in tears by the end! The people were SO lovely, kind and gentle in their revolution. Only until the government officials started firing weapons at the PEACEFUL protestors, did the people actually use violence in the form of Molotov cocktails, and the like. They were really only singing about being one and asking the military/police why they would turn against their brethren... it was truly a wonderful film. Glad you both saw it!
