David Suarez hey David, I’m a Range Rover owner myself and it’s a fantastic truck. This felt a lot different almost like a vantage and DB11 that sat up higher. Will be very interested to see how they drive early next year and compare firsthand!

just wondering, but what happened to the taillights? I thought they were circular originally, kinda wish they chose Db11 style lights, but nonetheless, the car still looks amazing

Nicholas Wong thanks for the comment! Aston was trying to hide the final design in our prototypes. Final car has the unique LED light bar. It’s another vehicle that looks even crazier and Awsome in person!

the classic centre dash sans the crystal key insert goes back to db7? glass button[nice] doug s score yet to come the lettering and tail like DBS and Vantage blue haze interior in California pre production did not have the elegant woolen liner bits.

Me too! its very rare these days to see a new vehicle and immediately like how it looks but the DBX gave me this great feeling right from the moment I saw it in person. They did a great job with it

They did not change the buttons for gear selector. On RHD models the drive gear selector is closer to the driver.

When will Aston Martin install a heads up display in their vehicles? That’s the secret sauce that the brand is missing. Porsche is starting to figure it out; Audi/Bentley, Mercedes, and BMW already figured it out. If Chevy can figure it out, I know Aston Martin can too.

This car is basically the best suv ever, if just fuel economy was better. 15 mpg in the city 🤯 It’s an suv so people will use it as a daily driver, it should be at least 18 mpg in the city.

What holds Aston back is the tech. Their cars are pretty good but the tech they offer for the price is still too far behind the competition. For a company making such good cars they're still an alternative rather than best in class. Even if they are more competitive than ever.

ғɪʟʟ 1ɴ ᴛ҉ ʜ3 ʙʟᴀɴᴋs so one thing I probably should have touched on In the video is that the computer system on DBX is powered by Mercedes Benz new MBUX OS. It’s way more advanced then anything previously used. Think full adaptive driving tech like radar cruise, active lane keep and more. It also has a new 12”3 inch display and full 10”2 dash. The other thing that is new is APPLE CARPLAY!! (Thanks god)

This is why the Vantage NEEDS the manual transmission. It really can't hang performance-for-performance against the competition. It needs something to differentiate it. Having the option to go full "analog" is just that, imo.
