CAR T Cells are immune cells grown in the laboratory, designed to attack cancer cells. These cells are used in an immunotherapy treatment called "CAR T-cell therapy", pioneered by Dr. Steve Rosenburg.
In this episode, Bo Cooper will have his T cells extracted to be turned into CAR T cells.
