Ballade Sports is the first in the world to introduce an upgraded camshaft set for the 2.0 Turbo engines from the 2015+ FK2/FK8 Civic Type R. Nowhere in the world has this been achieved yet.
Ballade Sports 2017+ Civic Type R FK2/FK8 Camshafts Set deliver increased horsepower all the way through the power band allowing higher rpm. Ballade Sports camshaft profiles give a natural sensation of quicker response and faster air velocity, allowing the rpm to speed through the gears quicker. This is a great upgrade for stock engines or with bolt on modifications. Valve springs upgrade is recommended but not required. Fuel upgrade is recommended but not required. Dyno tuning is recommended for maximum horsepower results, but will drive normally and deliver power on the Stock ECU.

An excellent question down the list a bit. In the description on the web page, it reads, " Valve springs upgrade is recommended but not required." Just underneath, it reads, "Stock valve springs and retainer not compatible. Upgraded valve train required." Which is it? If an upgraded valvetrain is required, the cheapest route is around $1900 before any installation. Well worth it for anyone pursuing records or for professional/serious competitors. A bit much for the ambitious road warrior.

Thanks for catching that. Its an error in the description. Stock valve springs are compatible. Upgrading is recommended.

I know this is a rather delayed response, but I’m looking at getting a pair of TR2 cams for my FK8 and it looks like as much as they’re compatible with OEM springs & retainers, you’ll be limited to the factory RPM range. If you want that sweet 8000rpm limiter, a Ferrea valvetrain is your best bet

Yes before the camshaft upgrade. Stock block 93 oct + meth injection. Turbo kit upgrade also. After camshaft upgrade 540whp peak. 40-50 midrange whp

Jamison Krusac the accord 2.0 uses a different cam because the DI pump and head is different. We know this because we already made a prototype camshaft set for our own 2.0t 6spd accord sport. Is there anything else you’d like to go with that order sir? Lol 😂 we are already ahead of you.
