Type R Makes More Power! | 4 Piston TR2 Cams | Civic FL5

The Ososik e-Shop Civic Type R (FL5) installed a pair of 4Piston TR2 drop-in cams and put the Honda back on the dyno! Daniel (PowerMetric.net) made big gains in the midrange as he starts to dial in the Cam tuning side of this custom tune. Big question so upon instal I assume you had to take timing cover off or where you able to sneak your way in to the tensioner access panel and pin it then remove cam gears ⚙️ while keeping the timing cover on along with the chains then just throw them back on or would I have to remove the whole chain and reset the timing with the timing cover off sorry if it’s stupid question.

That’s a good question and technically both ways work. This was done by leaving the side cover on.
