they seem to be a bit different. Decidueye wants to sneak attack and deal continous damage at a safe distance while Inteleon does more burst damage and needs to retreat as soon as its crits are gone

They both hit for different damage. Ones a sp.atk and the other is physical attack. Also you can form a sniper comp now.

@randomdrizzile playstyle actually feels a bit like a combination of Xerath and Akshan. So a Xerath with mobility instead of crowd control to keep him safe, with akshan's stealth-by-the-wall mechanics added in. Liquidation playstyle reminds me a bit of Kai'sa's gameplay, though fully single target rather than split around (that move was already taken by Espeon I think)

From what I can see of this video, Inteleon's snipe shot does not pierce through enemy pokemon, only wild pokemon

Both are different..... Inteleon snipe shot does only one target damage bt decidueye spirit shackle does multiple hits damage

Inteleon is more like a real sniper, assassin type while Decidueye is a sniper but better at teamfights and objectives since Decidueye can rip through enemies and objectives with his basic attacks and use his ability to get the last hit. They're certainly different but I get what you're trying to say, Inteleon is just better at terms of sniping

It looks like you can enter stealth if you stand near a wall for a couple seconds. Which is probably why Fell Stinger works like a grappling hook to pull you into a wall

Ojos Llorosos is "Tearful Look." It's a sure-hit move that decreases the enemy's Attack and Special Attack in the mainline games!

Inteleon so far really seems like it's going to highly compete with Decidueye if not outright beat it in how useful he is. SpAtk mon so it has stuff like spoon, actual mobility, access to invisibility and a good utility unite move. Second option which i believe was leaked to be Liquidation seems interesting too. Very excited for this release, even with the terrible meta I'll definitely be able to get myself to play.

Decidueye definitely has heavy competition now. Hopefully this means we can see it get a little stronger in the near future 🤔 Either by reworking its basic attacks or giving Shadow Sneak a mobility buff while Leaf Storm is given an even lower cooldown. I do think its important to note Deci can still move while sniping.

the only thing I would say Decidueye has an advantage over Inteleon is that you can move while using Spirit Shackle. It seems like INteleon is stuck in place while using snipe shot.

This Pokemon is like sableye , decidueye and "spiderman" ( 😆😆😆😆) combined . But only problem is that he can't move while charging his snipe shot and it takes a lot time to charge as compared to other charging moves like power up punch and spirit shackle 🤔.

I realized that aerobatics reset the finger guns, which is crazy and has that cool animator where his coat opens when he jumps during aerobatics. Am really loving the unique playstyle of these upcoming pokemom .this is what newer pokemon needs a Fun factor

As per usual, seems they've nailed its gameplay design! What a cool addition and I love we're finally getting more Starters! Giving it a grappling shot for mobility in the form of Fell Stinger was so creative 😆 Poor Decidueye is gonna have some real competition but at least it can still move while sniping unlike Inteleon.

I think the bubbles on top of his head increases his atk. And when you enter stealth, you get 1 bubble every 3 seconds or so....and all 3 bubbles are consumed when a move or basic atk is used

Its passive in the regular games is Sniper, which makes critical hits do more extra damage than normal, so having something with criticals would make sense and be in character. We really need a battle item that reveals invisible mons.... 5:38 so it looks like Snipe Shot does NOT go through multiple targets, like Spirit Shackle does.

I noticed that too. Glad you mentioned it. Am I wrong thinking decidueye could be a good counter to this since it both can reveal and pop off two spirit shackles before it finishes its long charge? Also deci can hide behind a defender and he cannot.

I fel in love with Inteleon's design the first time I saw it back in Gen 8. In time I grew to like Cindarace more, but I still like Inteleon a lot. I never liked Rilaboom however, that thing is really ugly. Also, with Inteleon, I think that his design is better utilized in a game like unite. You see his 'wings' movement, you see him turning invisible, things the mainline games do not have.

In duo/trio or 5 stacks this Inteleon is going to be so good for every objective. Pop unite and find the enemy in grass. Crit snipe from a distance. While defenders/all arounders are in the front line. Probably terrible for soloQ

Inteleon is basically Elsu from Arena of Valor. At least the “Sniper” shot and the invisibility passive, those are both straight from Elsu. The developers seem to be recycling abilities from heroes they own already. Pretty cool to see “Elsu” in Pokémon Unite tho.

The snipe pierces wild pokemon, but not the enemy. Invisibility charges when next to walls. It's very similar to another hero TImi has made a long time ago, Elsu. Also a design that gets hate on because laning against it is very annoying.

I was very confused on how long does it need to wait until it turns invisible, but after rewatching the gameplay, I think it turns invisible when you're both not attacking and near a wall/obstacle. But idk, that's just my guess

Noticed that too. At least Deci has the advantage of being able to move during their sniping. Inteleon seems like they try to quickly reposition and stealth in order to get an unsuspecting lethal shot.

A few thoughts: Another Pokémon that can turn invisible, what could possibly go wrong? The finger guns. 💀 The memes are going to make themselves. 😂 Snipe Shot is going to be fun for securing objectives just like Spirit Shackle, Wicked Blow, etc. It’s probably going to be squishy so having that long range will be nice.

Might also work as a jg invader you stand next to a wall for their jungle buffs then last hit the buff while attacking enemy jg (i dont think being near pokemon breaks invis i think its only if you attack or go too far from walls
