Looks great ! Much better than before and once it all dries out looks like easier weekly maintenance mowing too
@Tony-vb9bw5 жыл бұрын
Not really. Now there is a ditch to mow thru and a pile of rocks that are difficult to deal with and will eventual grow up in weeds. Had the same thing done on property I bought. Fixed it by running a tile thru the swale and covering with a foot of dirt to level out the ground. So much better to mow and doesnt stay wet long after a rain.
@letsdig185 жыл бұрын
this already had that installed and was still a swampy mess. it should grown any weeds unless alot of sediment is washed in from somewhere. just a little roundup on the edges and he will have a nice maintainable ditch for the life he lives there
@Tony-vb9bw5 жыл бұрын
@@letsdig18 Roundup causes cancer. The next owner is going to have a mess to deal with. Personally, i would have buried drainage tile, added some rock around it like a french drain and covered it with black dirt so the water would filter thru to the drain tile. Did that with my swampy mess and couldnt be happier. No wet ditch to mow thru and no rocks to deal with.

How many years does it take to master moving one pile of dirt from where it's sitting to 180 degrees away With Out gouging the shit out of the earth the pile is sitting on? If I move a pile like that I imagine where the dirt was sitting would look like the surface of the moon when I was done. I note three movements are happening simultaneously.
