First Landing State Park Virginia Beach VA
We camped at First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach Va and explored around the area, including Norfolk VA. We went to the Naval Museum, Nauticus, and toured the USS Battleship Wisconsin. We also visited the Virginia Zoological Park and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel. Our stay was in October, 2018.

VA is a pretty neat state, we moved here about 1 1/2 years ago from WA state. I've never lived anywhere else before that, so it was a little bit of an adjustment moving from the West coast to the East! Watching your channel makes Chicago look like a great place to visit! Thanks for stopping by!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, it is really pretty there. I tend to go for the longer hikes myself though. Thanks for watching!

There are boardwalks along the campground where you can walk across to the beach.

So sad.. VA. lacks recreational parks...with all that land.. I'm from NYC.. there are parks everywhere.. come down south no parks in sight.. lol .. Ppl have to drive miles to go to a park...

VA beach got 1 recreational park...lol 😂..U should be able to walk to the park.. with all that space in VA.. like NY.. u can go to the park to play.. workout.. take the kids.. VA u got to Google a park... So 😭 .. Create more parks.. Not theme parks.. just regular sit in the park parks.. @VAparkdepartment
