Please note> be very careful what campsites you pick. tree roots up through the sand , campsite footage is very small at some of the tent campsites.if it rains the water is going to run down the hill so you need to be up on high ground ,when it rains u will b in a big puddle. messy. some of the campsites are near swamp area or near a noisy highway. I went camping here once and chose my site by online website . I ended up with a campsite that was impossible to put my tent on due to massive tree roots covering the entire small camp site. I enjoyed my stay on my second trip at a much better site.

I love First Landing - I hike in there often. Love the bald cypress trees. Now we even have a black bear !
