You can tell for certain that the electric field affects the goals somehow bc you can see an electric animation around the goal zone (aside from the big one around you)

It weakens them like mamoswine strengthend his side of goal zone and i think it gives miraidon and it's allys a kind of healing effect like alolan ninetales gets an effect for herself in aurora veil just that this time it would be weaker for sure (it's a passive ability not a move and the area is large asf )

​@@spragels So in-game Miraidon has the ability Hadron Engine which creates Electric Terrain when it enters the battle. I'm guessing it's his passive; where occasionally or set amount of time (when gauge is full) it will create Electric terrain when it uses its moves on opposing Pokemon. In-game Elecric Terrain boosts electric moves and also prevents sleep, which prevents healing moves like Rest, so I think it makes sense why it might disrupt healing/defenses in bases.

I saw the video from ElChicoEevee and I don’t think Miraidon (Future Ride On) is gonna have a future for a Jungle. Seems more like a Support Attacker just with his Ability imo. I like it that way. Though Electro Drift is gonna be the easier set already. While we got three Sniper Beams for the harder builld.

I'm definutely seeing the "high strengths with big weaknesses" thing in Miraidon's design. Super high burst damage with super long downtime thanks to the 13 second cooldowns and the fact you need to land two skillshots in a row to get the empowered version of the move. Electric terrain gives you and your allies a damage boost, but the field isn't that huge and requires you to spend energy to make it bigger. Thunder for big damage and possibly for slows to make you move 1 easier to land, and charge for lowering that downtime and giving a bit of sustainability (helpful with drift since it's a more melee range move). Can't wait to be ripping Rayquaza only to see a METEOR fall out of the sky and steal it, that unite move seems insane

Looks like both Electro Drift and Charge Beam (first skill) have an empowered version if they successfully hit, AND you have the second one off cooldown. If you only have 1 charge and cant use it again right away, it wont be empowered since you can see the blue cooldown timer around the icon. So you're encouraged to not spam with Miraidon for maximum effect, interesting.

If you notice, miraidon is not charging it's unite move while scoring. While every other pokemon charges 10% right. It might be a bug or a nerf.
