STRAY KIDS have made it on the Americanmusic scene. Last year they won Best K-pop and performed at the VMAs. They have headlined Lollapalooza in both CHICAGO and PARIS. They just headlined at HYDE PARK. They were also to perform at the GLOBAL CITIZENS FESTIVAL however a small crash involving 3 members put a stop to that. Their producing team 3RACHA performed as their representatives. You may be thinking of their recent Collab with Charlie Puth......I LOOSE MY BREATH.

About Stray Kids: Leader Bang Chan was a trainee at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha with two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote / produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the highly unusual opportunity to help develop his own idol group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more say in picking the members than pretty much any other idol trainee in the industry), and when Stray Kids was formed 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still performs on occasion. Several of their songs / videos are posted on KZbin. They write / produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over the years the other members have also gotten involved in writing and production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but one left in Oct 2019. Stray Kids have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dance unit (Hyunjin, Felix (deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocal unit (Seungmin and I.N). But again, all 8 members are great and they switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can and have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in Korean and can also sing / rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music is super hard all the time. SKZ also write / sing beautiful ballads and have also written a few songs for K-drama, anime and video game soundtracks. Also..... Stray Kids also have three original songs on anime soundtracks coming out in the next couple of months: 1) The intro and outro songs on the soundtrack for the new Tower of God: The Workshop Battle series, which starts in October. 2) And a song (feat. Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello and Puerto Rican rapper Young Miko) on the soundtrack for Season 2 of ARCANE, which starts in November.

Love Sef’s reaction & I almost mistaken him as the fan instead of Kev lol 😂 FYI, there are three more newest MV from this album : Mountains, JJAM & Stray Kids in case you haven’t watched them yet . And highly recommend the Chk Chk Boom Festival Version for Sef 😊 Also, YES! Stray Kids has an original song called “SLASH” being one of the 2 title tracks featuring on the official Deadpool & Wolverine OST, not just the Korean ver of the movie but international / worldwide. Ryan Reynolds is known to be a true Stray Kids fan since 2021. 🥰

Kev here, please don't think of me as a hater LMAOO I should've clarified that I'm a Kpop fan as a whole, not a Stray Kids fan hahah. But all In all, things don't flash me as much anymore, since I've been actively listening to Kpop since 2015. More Stray Kids coming soon tho! I'm hoping to convert Sef to a fan of kpop😂 So I have someone to attend concerts with me lol

I really enjoyed your reaction. As an older Stay the major american music group I remember which features the name Stray could be the Stray Katz/Stray Cats but that was a long time ago and was Rockabilly. I think the last time they were really popular was the late 90's. Whew I am showing my age here.

I meannn damn, I was Into Stray Kids when they first came out with Hellevator, up until like their GO LIVE Album, after that I fell out of kpop as a whole for while & when I came back they just dropped soooo many songs I never went back to listen to all of It, cuz these boys be WORKIN😂 I did listen to most of the MVs when they drop tho! Thank you for your reaction, though Chk Chk Boom is not in the movie. Their latest album "ATE" is full of hype and fun songs, you should give it and the other albums a listen. Ryan and Hugh are Stay friends. Just thought you might like a little more info about how this came about. - Just a little back story about the Stray Kids and Deadpool relationship...back in 2021, when COVID restrictions were still in place, Stray Kids participated on a "competition" type show on MNET (Korean TV)...Kingdom: Legendary Wars. Six K-pop groups were assigned challenges on each episode. No one was eliminated, but each challenge was judged and scored. Spoiler....Stray Kids won the trophy at the end. Because of COVID restrictions, there was no studio audience, and the groups were kept separated during filming. That's why when you watch it, you'll see the other groups reacting from "behind the scenes". Anyway...one of the performances that Stray Kids did was a "mashup" of God's Menu and Blackpink's DDU-DU DDU-DU...and they used a Deadpool theme. This was brought to Ryan Reynolds' attention, and he reached out and complimented them on the performance. This began a long-distance friendship between the leader of Stray Kids (Bang Chan) and Ryan. Since then they have exchanged gifts and have sent public messages to each other on birthdays. Both sides have talked frequently about wanting to actually meet and how much of a fan they are of each other. - Their meeting on set is the first time they are actually meeting in person after three years of communicating long distance. This music video was filmed in New York City, this past May when all Stray Kids came to New York to attend the Met Gala representing Tommy Hilfiger as his ambassadors. - When Ryan and Hugh were in Korea promoting the new movie, they were able to meet up again with Bang Chan & Felix. (BTW...both Chan and Felix are so fluent in English because they are both from Australia. Bang Chan was born in Korea, but his family moved to Australia when he was very young and Felix was born in Australia.)
