Thanks for the great vid. When you say late season, what state are you talking? Seems just a vest and a puffy wouldn't cut it in late elk season in CO/MT?

Does your finger get cold in the mit with the single finger? I like those Amazon mit. I wished First Lite would design us one with ability to expose fingers. Love it. We can put Hot Hands in there if neccessary. Just saying . Lol

Hi! Chris Neville here. I've never had any problems with my finger getting cold in those mittens. I will say they probably do run a little bit cooler since its not a full mitten style but nothing drastic to where I had to change out mittens.

Just now switching to first lite from another large camo company. I always like seeing these types of gear hauls. Thank you for the info. What pant would you suggest for late season california hunting. It gets around 15°f up to the mid 30s with some snow hear and there. I run warm as hell and am always moving so something to heavy and bulk is nor what I'm looking for

If it's going to be in the mid 30's most of the day I'd probably go with the catalyst pants. They are great for those colder weather hunts! - Chris Neville

This season is going to be my first in Colorado. I want to do rifle deer primarily. Is it necessary to use camo or will solid colors be fine?

Hi! Chris Neville here. It's not necessary to wear camo, especially when rifle hunting since you will most likely be at further distance from the animal. It's kind of a personal preference for each hunter wether to wear camo or solids. Some hunters feel camo gives you more of an edge while in the field hunting, while others think it doesn't.

My First Lite clothing system only includes on Sitka and KIUI. Seems to work better than having any actual First lite in it.
