Man this is one of the better videos I’ve seen as far as first light layering system. Showing the temp ranges and favorite set up helped a lot in determining what I wanted to order!

I’m in upstate South Carolina. Think the catalyst or solitude bibs would be a better buy, which is a good amount of insulation for the cold and warmer days ?

How well does the umcopaghre layer under the catalyst jacket? Or have you done that? Thanks

I honestly have done that combo. I probably would run the puffy over the catalyst.

I’m about your size my waist is between 33 and 34 I’m looking at the catalyst bids do you think I should go with a medium or a large? Thanks

Is any of First Lite wind proof. How do you think it compares with Sitka

Hey Glenn! There isn’t any wind stopper in the current models. Hopefully, with the furnace or kiln basayers I never really noticed. I made the switch to FL from using Sitka because of the fit & bulk. I know they are coming out with some new pieces and I’m believing they are addressing the wind stopper technology hopefully.

They just did their new sanctuary system has a wind stopper membrane and pass through muff system. Nice stuff wish i would have held out and got my sanctuary kit this year!

@@AntlerUpOutdoors yes it does, they took a page from sitka with the pass through muff section. Would be really interested in some reviews on this stuff during the late season. I really do wish i would have held out. Who knows i might have to bite the bullet again...lol
