Pay attention to your 70hr clock. If your delivery times allow it try to just drive around 8 hrs a day so you don't have to do a 34 hr reset if you want to stay out.

Welcome to the trucking industry. They threw you to the wolf but after your first week you will see how easy trucking is. Always use the jake brake on steep downgrades. Make sure you use your rewards card for where you get fuel.

Yeah I’m in cdl school rn. I’m out of Chicago and tbh I refuse to get in a dirty truck if I was doing otr or regional. I’m in Chicago it’s too many jobs here and good companies to deal with that bs. I’m doing local though.

Well that’s good for you that you have the options. The way my driver record set up I don’t have options lol. Knight was only company out of 23 that hired me so I’m take what I can. My time coming soon. Our terminal little so it was that truck or Volvo so yea… options slim over here sadly lol but congratulations to you.

Aye 513 and I would say goto Napier. I loved it. Like 99.9 of staff is actually cool asl. If Joel your teacher you gone love him, he so passionate about what he does. School schedule your test for you and have recruiter come talk so you can have job line up during school or after school.

Use split sleeper birth while sitting in the door. Then when you do your ten. Take it off. I've gotten trailers on E. But I always keep my trailers fuel
