Central is Fresno Area. And if you look at the Fresno office it looks just like that with the lettering. Always has been the central division. But CHP Central LA office is the one always mentioned in CHiPs. LA is under CHP’s Southern Division and is headquartered in Glendale. Also the bars are Vision bars. They ALMOST got the color right on the Vision. CHP had clear domes except for the center pod that was red. The outer pods were red filters to the front, blue in back, next ones were blue filters to the front, red in back. Then the ones next to the center were clear front, and blue rear. Too bad Greenlight didn’t put spotlights on the vehicles. All CHP cars has lights.

Funny enough I have Greenlight 1/64 1992 Crown vic police car which has CHP Markings Planning to have Greenlight 1/64 Chevy Caprice.

What, no Paunch and John motorcycles? Common, GL! They need to make some CHiPs cars. How hard can it be to get the licensing for that and just make CHP cars that look like the ones from the show?

This is sick. I respect and dig your passion. Question sir: Do they make something like or close to a run down inner city corner/liquor store? I was interested in making an ghetto diorama, detailed to a T complete with crackheads, (excuse me) i meant people that self medicate, nodding out, someone holding a cardboard sign, miniature shopping carts with recyclables, pit bulls just running free, ladies wearing fishnet stockings and high heels leaning in the driver side window talking to the driver possibly negotiating a fair price, a small crowd of youngsters gathered out front, a police cruiser bending the corner, the shot spotter flashing blue that’s equipped on the telephone pole, and a police helicopter hanging by a thin wire, shining the spotlight on this masterpiece of a depiction of a blink/glimpse/second of what’s going on somewhere every night. I’ve seen people make just about every other type of setting of environment but not this. I’m sure they have I just haven’t seen it. (PS. I left out a few tents set up on the sidewalk. I’m not gonna make a whole damn tent city, just a few)
