Just added to the fleet... our new 2022 Polaris Sportsman 570 Premium and 570 Trail. By the time I got around to posting this, the 2006 Sportsman 500 HO has sold.

Cool to see you like the Polaris brand enough to own more than one. One day I’ll own another Polaris quad

I have a 2022 570 trail. I absolutely love it. It's been a super reliable machine.

We had to wait about 4-5 months for ours, but absolutely love them.

Enjoyed the video. SORRY that you live in CA. I'll pray for you. LOL I'm looking at a 2023 570 trail . Thanks, Kenneth- N.C.

Thanks Kenneth, and thanks for the prayers, we need it LOL. Since you’re in NC, what do you call it? Quad? ATV? 4-wheeler?

Thankfully I don't have any need for any winter weather attachments down here in the desert. I will have videos of our upgrades coming soon...

What about an SP model? Looks like the trail but no front bumper…. What else is different? Asking as I am looking at a slightly used one. Same arched Aarms and led lights. Also I don’t live is CA anymore, can the evap be removed?
@goodjerm9 ай бұрын
The SP should be really similar other than the bodywork and possibly the battery location if it's 2020 (i think) or older. The drive train should also be nearly identical. 2021 was the first year of this current style with the battery up top and body work. As far as the evap system, i'm pretty sure that's only models sold in CA, and only started in 2022 (i'm happy to be wrong and to be corrected).

Does either of your newer 570 make a clunk noise if you ease on the throttle from a stop or let off going 1 or 2 mph? I have a 24 570 trail with 2 miles on it and it makes a clunk noise during those situations no other times. Just wondering if that’s normal? I’ve heard it was but 🤷♂
@goodjerm7 ай бұрын
They both do it, but it has gotten better with time. It is normal, once the clutch breaks in it should get better although it doesn’t fully go away. The shifter will get smoother too. 😉

Nice, does it have enough power? How is the suspension? How is the realibilty? Which parts would you upgrade? Is it much lighter than a 1000ccm? Alsow can u compare it to other brands Canam, cfmoto?
@goodjerm Жыл бұрын
These 570’s have plenty of power for the kind of riding we do. I really couldn’t justify the extra money for an 850 or 1000. Suspension is great, with the Polaris you get more suspension and ground clearance than any other brand, and given some of the places we ride (and plan to ride) that will be important. Have really had these long enough to speak to reliability, but so far no issues. These are still rigs, they aren’t much lighter than the big bore machines. I don’t own any other brands so I can’t really compare, but if someone ever wanted to loan one to me or collaborate that would be cool. I have a first ride video up, along with a new video of riding.

@@goodjerm Should i go for a CFmoto 1000 or Sportsman 570, they are basically same money?
@goodjerm Жыл бұрын
@@sknails2723 Oof. That’s tuff. I hesitate to say what you should do, but for me I would go with Polaris or CanAm. The 570 Polaris puts out nearly the same power as the 700 from Suzuki (or Yamaha). Plus I’m not sure about upgrades and parts for the CFmoto. Just my opinion of course.

Go with the cfmoto 1000 there good machines I just traded my 2022 polaris 570 eps for a 2023 honda foreman 520trx. It's not as comfy as the polaris but I couldn't be happier. The polaris is a great and fun machine they just do not like water at all the cvt intake is in such a bad spot if you drive over a puddle with any speed the water splashes up right into the cvt intake and causes the belt to slip even just driving on grass after it rains is enough to splash water up and make the belt slip. So disappointing because other then that it is a really fun machine the honda is alot slower but up here in canada it's alot more reliable took it for a ride yesterday for the first time and had water over the wheels and no belt to worry about slipping.with that said my next machine forsure will be a polaris highlifter 850 always wet here in manitoba

Anyone have a problem with the belt exhaust taking in water? Looks like a really bad area to be located
@goodjerm Жыл бұрын
I’ve read that it can be a problem, and have seen a couple of simple hacks to get around it. I live and ride in the desert so it really isn’t an issue for me.
