How close is the Beta 500RS in performance compared to a traditional 450MX bike? Would the 480RR be more similar? I'm strictly a trail rider looking to get away from MX bikes, but don't want to miss that MX power too much. Thank you!

Is the displacement still 477cc.. ktm is 511cc.. the beta is close to a 450, not a 500..usually displacements are 10cc differences in most models.. just curious.. considering buying a beta.. thanks

im seriously considering unloading my ktm 690 and picking one of these up..do these have a bad steering radious?also,has anyone gone down the road for like 30-40 miles?

Good morning! The radius is good and can also be adjusted via the stoppers on the frame. I would say 40 miles is pushing your comfort level if you are on expressway type riding. If it is 40 miles of dirt road/ side roads it would be a blast! Enjoy The Ride, Jared

Given how similar the 350 on up to 500 RS models are in weight and price, why would you get anything but the 500 for riding on the street? If you’re not going to ride on the street much you’d just get an RR instead and plate it. The RS seems more dual sport than enduro.
