Great video! I’m considering the new SRAM RED E1 Gear Shifters and brake levers for new bike I am building . I have limited functionalities in my right hand, so I need to be able to shift gears up and down with one hand only. For example, if my left lever is used to shift to an EASIER gear, can I program the bonus button on the left hood to shift into the HARDER gear??, essentially, the bonus button would do a function that is opposite to the shift lever on the same side… as for the right side, I’m not concerned about it, as long as I will be able to shift gears UP AN DOWN With the left lever and the bonus button on the left hood. Thank you!

I thought be already, my SRAM red etap pivot just right so cross chain without chain rub, as how little this is I'm looking at old SRAM red axs for my next bike

New Red will have the name "Sram Red AXS E1" ....e1 means it's the latest new groupset

Why the goofy 48t chainring? I would be riding in the 10t cog 70% of the time. They need to provide a 52/36 or at least a 50/36 chainring combo at a minimum

48-10 is around the same gearing than a 53-11, you're such a strong rider

@@alex76_24 That's exactly the gearing you'll need to keep up with Chris Reikert who is presenting this video so yes a 52 or a 54 completely makes sense.

You didn't mention the atrociously poor fit of the rubber hoods. Something that other reviewer's describe as unacceptable on a so-called premium groupset.
