I LOVE these videos Jeremy does, they are such eye-candy. I live in Cumbria UK where it rains 10 months of the year (don’t get me wrong I love living here and experiencing all four seasons) but I appreciate seeing a completely different lifestyle presented in a non-superior way; Jeremy isn’t boasting about how he lives he’s just being himself and I could watch him all day. I actually started to drool when he was cutting that brisket🤤👏😁

Just revisited this video as have been eyeing up a new smoker. Great content, as ever. Can’t believe I missed the best line on KZbin the first time around though… “If you don’t like that, we can’t be friends.” Amen.

This is both an awesome grill and an awesome video. If KZbin hands out awards for winning content and winning providers, this video should be right up there, in the running. It's worth the viewing. The grill? Man, I want one. Wow!

Awesome video from start to finish! Love everything Traeger did on this grill and it’s pretty clear for those that might not want to drop the coin on this model that Traeger has some future grills that will feature a lot of these improvements at a price point that better suits those consumers. Good thing tax return season is here, I know what I’m spending my check on!

First off, awesome video/overview of a feature packed Traeger! Now, it's feature packed and there's no denying that it's a set it and forget it rig. But, I'm just not dropping $4k on that thing! I'm actually in the market for a good pellet smoker to go beside my stick burner for the days/weekdays where I can't tend the flame. This thing, while it looks pretty end all be all, just doesn't add enough value over the say $1k-$2k pellet smokers available. And that's a hard $2k jump to sell! Electronic temp control, overnight hoppers, Wi-Fi... those are all standard features now. There's gotta be a serious wow factor for that $2k hit and I'm just not seeing it with this Traeger. Now, if we had a blending hopper that could add x amount of maybe some Hickory from chamber A and then x amount of Applewood from chamber B in an user adjustable sequence, that would be the type of feature I'm wanting to see at this price point! Again, awesome video! Totally get this smoker isn't for everyone, I just value what each of my dollars does is all!
@JeremySiers2 жыл бұрын
I can totally appreciate that opinion. It definitely holds a premium price. I will say though, there is an X factor that can’t be explained by features on paper. This thing cooks way better and pumps out more smoke flavor than any other pellet grill I’ve used. Also don’t think I’ve ever seen a smoker with an integrated induction burner and wireless probes. Both super handy. Still at that price it is definitely not gonna make sense for everyone. Just food for thought. Or brisket for thought…depending on how ya wanna look at it. 😂😜

You should check our recteq pellet smokers. Top notch quality with fair prices. Traegers are overpriced to cover all of their marketing.
@michaelnance52362 жыл бұрын
I agree that this is a REALLY nice grill. IF you're looking for the max features AND price, the Camp Chef Woodwind Wi-fi with the Sidekick might be considered. For roughly $1,500 you can get a large pellet smoker (the 36 in model is pretty big) and the sidekick with griddle and bbq box. I've been enjoying reverse seared steaks and such for some time, all on one unit.

Great video Jeremy!!! I love all the designs and features of this smoker! I can't wait to get my hands on one of these bad boys. I'm saving a place for it right on my patio! Living here in Michigan, I am just a little concerned with the screen and how cold tempuratures might affect it using it during winters, because winter will never ever stop me from smoking in the winter. Although I didn't drop my phone, but I did "drop" my desktop computer mounted to my desk, meaning I threw it against the wall, not really, but felt like I wanted to after hearing that price. Who am I kidding, it will still look amazing on my patio.

Looks nice and more heavy duty like a Yoder YS640S. Seems like they may have some takeaways from Yoder. I do like the high heat side burner nice touch. Still sticking with the Yoder its more of a competition style pit and made in the US with heavy steel on every part. Hats off to Traeger for stepping up their game.

I went from stick to pellet years ago…just little something always been missing. I got turned onto a Char Griller 980 Gravity. It’s pretty new to me so jury is out, but liking the cook of real wood with the convenience of the electronics. Do you think Treager will enter the gravity field?
@JeremySiers2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I still like the ole stick burner when I have time. But ya can’t argue with the results and convenience of a good pellet grill or a gravity fed. I don’t think Traeger would get into the gravity fed game, pellets aren’t kinda their deal. But….ya never know. 😉👍🏻

Great video Jeremy! Quick question - Do the pellets feed down the hopper evenly when cooking? With my Traeger now one side feeds down faster so the sensor for the pellets isn’t correct after a while without leveling the pellets in the hopper.
@JeremySiers2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I get a little of that with all the pellet smokers I’ve had. The pellets kinda hang up on each other a little and won’t auto gravity feed. Didn’t notice this was any better or worse than others. That hopper dump port is waaaay better though 😉👍🏻

Question. I just picked one up. Day one. After burn in, I am having issues with extreme temp fluctuations. I have had a recteq for years and only see temp variations of a few degrees. This new one seems to be much worse. Set at 400.. runs between 435 and 375. Gets better as the cook goes on. Is this common for Traegers?

Clean burning effectiveness?
