I have ran a couple cooks on the Easy BO now and so far it has fallen short of what I was hoping for! The pit struggles a little but the controller is really bright and shiny!!! hahaha Hands down spend the money on a LSG. Easy BO will be recycled beer cans 3 times before my boys fight over who gets the LSG!! I will do a comparison someday with the LSG but I can tell you just from 2 cooks buy the LSG! It might not have as cool of a LCD screen but the app is way better in the FireBoard controller!!!!

@DeadBrokeBBQ Жыл бұрын
IMO it is a good pellet grill mainly because the cooking chamber is built to hold 3 hotel pans. So I use this pit when I cater to hold cooks after I have wrapped them in a foil pan. The price is high especially when you compare it to my Lone Star Grillz pellet grill that costs around the same price but it is made out of 3/16 american steel. I will be doing a review on the Ironwood real soon and that pit IMO might fall in a much better price bracket for what you get. Thanks for watching!

Just for you Jerry I will strap the donger back on when I run the LSG!!!!! hahaha I got hit with some issues in the studio so I am behind on these comparison and review videos but I promise that I am going to get some cooks in soon!! Agree hands down the LSG is the better value over the XL! Actually nothing compares to the LSG IMO but I got more tests to do on this Traeger but to me so far it is overpriced with a fancy controller that really doesn't do much other than make a few things easy to set up. First simple cook it never reached the 350° I set the pit at to do some chicken thighs and it ran for almost 2 1/2 hours but I do not count that as a bad thing yet because it needs to break in a bit! Thanks for watching bro and I hope you are doing good with that LSG!!!???!!!
@ShaneM0072 жыл бұрын
That thing is a Easy-Bake Oven for sure basically an overpriced non-smoking outdoor oven. So go out and purchase you a Lone Star Grillz pellet smoker. There are some great features on this pit Ricer. I like the ash dump and the ease of changing the pellets except for that damn grill grate over the hopper SMH! hahahaha I think I can fit about 8 pounds in the hat! ha ha It is a nice pit but IMO about $1,500 overpriced. Nothing that special about it other than the controller but that does not do as much as the FireBoard even if it is a LCD touch screen. Plus on the first cook I did some typically quick chicken thighs at 350° and it never reached that temp in 2 1/2 hours but it is still early and every new pit needs some break in time! I remember when you did the assembly. Since then I have seen this in a store and despite my not being a fan of pellets I was impressed. The use of a induction stove top is very cool. And all that stainless in the cook chamber, very impressive. It appears to be a good machine. Of course at that price it should keep your beers cold and compliment your good looks. Speaking of looks I liked the hat. It needs something like maybe a feather. About the bow tie though, it says your dreams of being a member of the Chippendales are behind you ( sorry but that's a funny mental picture 😂) Anyway great burn in and extra review. Before I go I have to say I'm very interested in the swamp cooler and I liked the big vent although it looks like maybe you need to increase the size of the out going pipe to deal with the smoke that built up some in the studio. If you do any more review on the swamp cooler it would be fun to see if it can cool some beers? Sir, have a great day 🌤 😀 🍻👍
@DeadBrokeBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Hahahaha Victor!!!! Ya my chip n dale days are long gone!!!! hahaha So as far as Easy BO well on the first cook the pit never reached the set temp of 350°. It only got up to 305° but I give these pits a little time to break in and learn. So hopefully this $4k pit is what they priced it at and not just a marketing scheme?!?! The controller certainly is nice and playing to the younger generations but I will take an old fashion knob if the pit never gets to temp. The swamp cooler is fricking awesome bro!!!!!! I am telling you that thing is a huge help when I am cooking BBQ!!!! I have another exhaust hood getting installed this week at the peak of the roof to draw the rest of the smoke out! This lower hood could be bigger and we will add to it if needed to catch more but most of it rolls up the back and to the peak and back down so when we get the 1,000 CFM in this little 400 and some will just help keep it from building up at face level! Trust me we have been messing with this for 2 months now so I want it done!!!!!! hahaa Like always bro, I appreciate you watching and always leaving a comment!!!!
