I like how v.2 have more settings and features especially on accessories side, but the UI is a mess, v.2 requires us to go deeper one level for light control and another swipe for more options which I think unnecessarily complicated. Fortunately v.1 is still working, at least for now, so I use that for control and v.2 for settings.

Love a lot of the new features. For people with trouble with switching you don't need to delete the V1 the lamps will keep working on the old app (until the moment V2 apps finds them). So a) turn of one lamp b) turn it on c) turn it off on 5 times so ten switches in total 5 times on 5 times off and then it should have the purple colour fading instead of white.

Thank you for the presentation. When will you add the ability to create own dynamic preset? And will it be an advanced tool with the ability to manually set transition curves? I'm asking because I want to create my own sunrise. With colors and duration.

So the product is nice but it doesn’t connect to Alexa which is soooo bad for it, why can’t u fix this it is the only thing missing, wiz v2

Unfortunately 4 bulbs showing the bulbs could not connect to the WiFi after showed l need to download the new app on my phone! I may need to return all 6 double packs smart bulbs if the issue can not be solve.

i have this proplem like everey two weeks it just dosent connect any more and someday it will just start working i hope u fix it becayse its really annoying to wait to the lights to work for days then can use like two weeks and again wait and if i change password of wifi the app goes nuts

I am having trouble with mine. It keeps coming on during sleep time after an outage and it comes on by it self every morning at 6:45 and there is no setting set for it to do so. I have tried everything and still no fix

For the SpaceSense, do confirm again that the below criteria's are met: 1) Have the V2 version of the Wizapp. 2) min. 2 lights within the same room 3) The Wiz lights available were manufactured after 2021.

We have just over 80 Wiz lights in our house after we did a full remodel last year (mostly recessed lighting.). The only REAL complaint (and it annoys me costantly!) is that you cannot create a multiroom scene. I really hoped v2 would add this but it does not. If you want a scene that controls multiple rooms (almost all of mine) you have to have multiple scenes with the same name. Just group them under a single entry. We have 8 rooms I think setup so it makes the UI experience really poor. It seems to me (as a full time app and software developer) that adding a 'Master Scene' that is simply a grouping of other scenes under a single name) would not be a crazy hard function to add. This 'building block' style would allow you to build up a collection of smaller scenes and then group them as needed. Hopefully this is coming, or something like it. Edit: I thought the new 'Quick Actions' would do this, but it only allows you to select a SINGLE scene per quick action. So basically a useless add. Disappointing folks. would it really have been that complicated to save a list of what scenes are included in a quick action vs just one?

Love the new app! One question though, the V1 version has a 'Vacation' mode for all lights so that they simulate presence at home. Where can I find this option in the V2 app? Thanks!

Hi theere Larsjeee1993, We do regret to inform that the Vacation Mode is not available on the Wiz V2 version at the moment due to compatibility reasons. For now, since the Wiz V2 is on beta test, it is still possible to use both Wiz Connected(V1) and Wiz V2 at the same time. You may set the vacation mode from the V1 app, and it would still work.

As for the smart plug, when purchasing you would want to look for smart plugs with Powermeter support and these types of smart plugs will provide you with power consumption reading on the app. Hope this helps 😊

Dear Wiz! Love the app. Wishes for future features: 1) The existing home screen widget takes up alot of unused space on the home screen, but the actual graphics is much smaller. Would it be possible to reduce the space the empty space around the widget? 2) Would love to be able to do custom dynamic fadeing. Ex. the "Sun rise" fades from dull pink to bright light. But have freedom to customize this time of fading would be amazing.

Just downloaded the new V2 app. I LOVE it. Its 100% designed for advanced users though. This will really help steal Hue customers. I have spent the last 5 hours organizing my house of 30+ lights and all the upgrades are incredible. Keep it up and thank you! If i can make one suggestion have 2 versions of the app a Basic Users and Advanced Users version. The problem with adding so many advanced options is it overwhelms a particular audience base which I think make up a lot of Wiz’s current customer base.

Is there any way to control lights from different rooms with a remote in the new app? Like both kitchen and living room lights with the same remote.

Hi there Max Rapp, we regret to inform that at the moment, the Wizmote only works per room. It would need to be transferred over in the app to the new room should you wish to control a different room from the one you originally paired with. Could you please add more presets for Wizclick power switch mode? Currently it has only two, but my parents (who prefer using wall switch rather than their phone) usually using three different modes in a day. Also, it's a great product btw, inexpensive but has lots of features :)

Hi Eryk, Yes, at the moment, the no motion delay is set to a minimum of 5 minutes. The main reason for this is to conserve the motion sensor's battery life. We do thank you for your feedback though and will forward it to the relevant team for future improvements.

Hi there Goldkat, Yes all the light modes and color options available on the V2 app will work with compatible lights. Our color lights will mention "16million color combination" which confirms this is a color type and will work with the light modes such as Party and Christmas.

That would be awesome ! Strange my lamps switches on and I'm on holiday or in a restaurant ! Yeah then the lamps are even a "home alarm" ! I was considering the motion sention just for the same reason then it is light and burglars prefect dark

So if I put a lot of home sensors motion then I can switch on the entre house like a templ of light........ should more advertise the lamps that way there is a lot of functions for it =)

Hi there David González, at the moment, Siri support through Scene is not available on the V2 app yet. On the Wiz(v1) app, there is still Siri support through Scene and both apps can run concurrently for the moment.

Siri works directly with the Scenes feature on the Wizapp. Creating a Scene with all your lights OFF and another for ON, will allow your Siri turn them on and off as well. Hi there JAMALAN, Currently, both the v1 and v2 Wiz app are operating concurrently. If your account was linked with any of the Identity Provider(Google, Facebook, AppleiD), you will only need to log in on the v2 app and your account will load automatically. I have setup the Wiz V2 app. How do I setup the new spacesense features, as my bulbs model ST64/27181/firmware 1.28.1 get not enough compatible device's error, even though I have 7 bulbs in the room. Are these bulbs not going to work with spacesense?

He went to check and said that this app is a spyware/fake program because there's no reviews and it's made by another company than the v1. That's why I wrote that previous comment. I wonder what can I tell my friend to convince him this app is safe. I'm using it and very like it. Thanks again.

You may suggest taking the link we shared at face value as it is directly provided by us however, there are other indicators. For example, right below the app brand: Wiz V2, you will see our company name: WiZ Connected Lighting Company Limited, highlighted in green. This is clickable and will share to you all the available apps under this(our) company and from here you will see the original Wiz(v1) app as well. Furthermore, depending on which app store you are using IOS or Android, you will also see provider information or developer information. Cross-referencing any of this information, will lead back to Wiz but for further assurance, do know that Google and Apple also have strict policies and process to prevent any impersonation of big companies. Hi there jdk08. May we have more details regards to your mention of RGB mode? Our lights that support color allow 16million color options including the RGB spectrum. If you are checking the possibilities of setting a custom dynamic light mode using the RGB colors, it can be done manually by selecting the preferred color for each light you have or using our preset dynamic light modes.(e.g. Sunset, Christmas, etc). Hi, we can understand your decision but the WiZ V2 app will eventually become our primary app. If there is any specific situation you are experiencing, it might help to have the situation reviewed by our support team for improvements. Besides that, we do want to update as well that we have included a migration feature that will help to transfer your account from the V1 to V2 seamlessly. We would recommend using this feature instead of setting up your account again on the V2.

I did try that first, but it didn't work. So then I deleted each light, then deleted the home and re set it up as a new (used) lights and I couldn't get 1 out of my 32 lights to show up....... after a few hours, I gave up. I got other light from all different brands. I am not new to setting different lights up, but the new app just does not work. The old app works ..... the lights are great ..... new app probably needs work on connecting the lights, I will try again when it kicks me off the old app until then, tho I am happy.

Based on the current discussion, it would be devices released after a confirmed partnership that would be Matter compatible since an additional hardware may be needed for the light. If Matter is able to proceed with this via software update then we would also check with them on applying to all our devices.

These suck. They disconnect all the time. I've had wiz lights for like 3 years and I've had to reconnect them nearly everyday for them to work "smartly"

@@WiZlighting ya I've tried that over a dozen times, just about everytime they disconnect I go to the support chat and go through all the troubleshooting and set up over and over. They do reconnect when I reconnect and reset them, they just dont stay connected for some reason. I have good internet,i have my 5 and 2.4 separated and have them on the 2.4, the led strips are in my bedroom which is only one room away from the router modem, I just gave up and use them like normal warm or white lights...one click theyre white two clicks theyre warm and then hold to adjust dimmer or brighter...it's funny cus even on my wifi controls ot shows they are connected, even my alexa thinks they're connected but when I try to say turn off blah blah blah, nothing. And it's with every light bulb and led light strips I own. They were all a gift from my kids dad and he's not all that good with anything with returns or exchanges, cus ide really like to have these looked at by a tech support from Wiz and know if I really do just have some malfunctioning devices or if it's something I'm doing or with my internet and connection. But after messaging on here I did go give it a try again and they did something theyve never done before and turned blue, with the regular click on the button thing, so that's odd and they now have either a pink light or a blue light mixed into my white and warm lights...these are the led strips that is, so now it appears I've got a whole new problem.
