Hey there! I somehow cant claim the new special research, even when logging in a couple times. Could it be because I have completed too many team go rocket special researches?

Just to be sure you're looking in the right place, the research will be a continuing of the "Galar Calling" Special Research that started when the Season changed. Page 9 of the quest-line is where it will pick up the new Team GO Rocket quests, and page 11 I think is where they give you the Super Rocket Radar

You've got to be up to page 9 in the Galar Calling research to get the new section to open up (i.e., page 9 *is* the start of the newest part that will involve TGR)

EZ. Used Annihilape for Persian (had it for Rhyperior aswell until it fainted), used Meowscarada for Rhyperior and Mega Garchomp for Shadow Heatran (my trainer level is Level 40)

I did that same thing but it was different Giovanni use his second pokemon and it was nidoking i lost my strongest pokemon.

HA heatran might be easy for me i might just throw my shadow kyogre at him 🤣🤣🤣 also glad your back with the helpful vids

Kyogre will do just fine, but it wouldn't resist Bug Bite...it probably will just out-muscle it, however, depending on how high it's powered up! But it will resist Fire Spin :) And obviously it deals the 160% super-effective...but Ground is the only type for Heatran that will do the 256%. Thanks so much for viewing!

I have an extra radar and I was wondering if I should you it on cresselia or if I should wait for heatran to come out

Ultimately, the advice will vary based on the person's preferences/play-style... some might tell you to hang onto every Radar you can, but they don't stack up unless there's a Timed Research or a separate Special Research that comes out (very rare) completely different than the Rocket-specific research yet rewards a Super Radar...so it's hard to stack them up beyond just two Super Radars. But those who tell you to hoard the Super Rocket Radars are probably saying that so that you can wait until Shadow Mewtwo, Shadow Groudon, Shadow Kyogre are back in rotation, or the inevtiable future Shadow Rayquaza. I, on the other hand, like to collect *all* of the Legendaries when they come around, so if it was my account personally, I'd catch the Shadow Cresselia if I didn't have one yet, and then get the next Super Rocket Radar to use on Shadow Heatran, and so on.

It's as the reply just before mine says: the Season's Special Research is "Galar Calling" and before October 8th, the max you could get to was Quest Page 9, but once the event starts in your local time, Page 9 will be opened up for you to complete more quests

why isn’t machamp for persian not recommended this time around?

If you've never done it, definitely try to send a Machamp vs a Persian with Scratch. If the Persian has Feint Attack? Oh, go for Machamp all day (although I will tell you, Machamp's top Fast Attack, Counter, has been nerfed - it doesn't generate as much energy per hit that it used to, so that's a strike), although Scrafty is even better if you're on a budget because it double-resists Feint Attack. Machop is awesome. I used Machop (counter) on Persian, which took it out easily and then used the charge (close combat) to take out both shields and Rhyperior and still had enough power to reduce Heatran by half before being taken out. My Rhyperior finished rest of Heatran
