I know and understand the frustration of consoles and PC players when they see features like this in mobile ports but always remember there's a reason why mobile ports have good features and sometimes better skins its because the company can get a millions of money monthly. Always remeber that League of Legends Wild Rift was considered a flop or undersold even though it earned more than a 120 million according to their sales statistics a few months ago.

No, if you think about it, it’s actually more like BotW. Weapon sharpness is kinda like BotW’s weapon durability. And combine it with Your preferred choice of survival genre game (Minecraft, Rust, eccetera,) and boom, you got Outlanders. And hopefully it’s an actually good game, unlike genshin, imo. One can only hope. But hey, they brought back swimming, that’s gotta mean something! Right?

One thing I've noticed with that built up cannon clip and the clip of the palico whacking the Anjanath down, is that it seems to be from a player perspective. The monkey who puts down the cannon is viewed like he's being controlled by the player and the Palico gives the anja a good whack like a Prowler. Could Prowlers be confirmed to come back with this game...?!

There's also a chance that the camera just focuses on them for a special move, and maybe you control them during it. Prowlers would be great, but def not guaranteed yet.

You forgot to point out that the buildable weapons, like the cannon, seems to be a coop operated. We see two hunters in it, one controlling the panning, and the gunner the tilting and firing. Need more like that cause it reminiscent of Peace Walker's Coop Weapon/Items.

I don't think badly of genshin impact but the moment I hit the part where i had to obtain materials that required energy to get, I bounced. I'm not waiting over a game hand and foot to get the energy needed to have a chance of getting material needed to lvl up. Games that do that think they are so good that they deserve to be a part of my daily gaming habits and I resent them for it. I hope the same won't happen with MHF but as they say: hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

it feels weird that they didn't go for the art style that has been used for two decades now for portable titles exactly because of the fact it would run easier on portable devices, but rather went with the most recent home console world style, because the former would help the game run easier on phones which is the main platform this game is meant to be played on, and they would also be able to reuse two decades worth of content where needed rather than only two games worth of content I'm gonna be playing this, obviously, but I don't think that thought is gonna be leaving my head :/

This sharply depends on how heavy the gatcha system is. I've been hearing you're only able to do a number of hunts until your "energy" runs out then you have to wait. Think imma stick with wilds, but we'll see.

The whole survival stuff sounds intresting, in a way, this feels more like old school MH. Like, imagine rebooting OG MH, I could see it be more something like this. Modern MH games have become a power phantasy, but outlanders allmost sounds like you have to work harder to survive in this world of monsters. Makes me kinda sad WE don't have this in Mainline games. Imagine, Outlanders could end up being more MH like than modern MH games.
