Nice minicab. A few things for first time projects on it: new vacuum lines can be gotten of ebay (3mm silicone tube), the rubber fuel line above the tank should be changed too (AutoZone) my line broke mid trip home from being dry rotted, i recommend LED lights all the way around (helps get rid of so much alternator draw from the little 40 amp alternator), 7x6 inch led lights to replace the halogen will help with that power draw too. I posted a tutorial to install your own RPM tach on the mini truck forums for the minicab.

congrats and enjoy. Start your maintenance yesterday.

That is THE statement when you get an 'old' mini truck. It's not a low quality vehicle, but maintenance is very necessary!

Welcome to the Kei Truck family in the USA. That string wheel just needs to be taken apart and reinstalled a few teeth to the right. At that time you should install the quick release steering wheel assembly, this will also raise it a few inches which may help out with more room for your legs. Once I replaced the wheels and tires, the steering improved 200%! The old ones were way worn and causing most of what you saw. It's still not perfect and needs alignment and tweaking.

Thank you for the in-cab video. I have been interested in this type of little truck. The videos I have seen so far only show the outside and not the thing driving around. How tall are you? The leg room looked a bit tight but manageable for short drives.

I am 6'5". I am about as tall as you can be and still drive a Minicab. Getting in and out is unique, but the vehicle is easily operable once inside. I did try fitting in all the various mini trucks, Subaru, Honda, Suzuki, Dihatsu, and Mitsubishi. The only ones I could realistically operate due to my height were the Mitsubishi and the Subaru. I am more of a fan of the layout of the Mitsubishi's motor and interior.
