FIRST LOOK at the 2024 530i

BMW Autohaus was the first dealership in the GTA to receive the 2024 BMW 530i and BMW i5. We had the cars displayed for our customers. They could touch and feel the vehicle for the first time.
Keep in mind that this is a pre-production vehicle, so there will be little subtle changes.
The 530i is using the same engine as the previous generation, but bumped up the horsepower to now make 255 hp and 295 lb-ft. That's possible by the new mild-hybrid system.

This is one beautiful vehicle. I am waiting for the 540i xdrive. It would be nice to see a side view from further back so we can see the entire side profile. Thanks for the video.

It truly is a beautiful vehicle. We will do a more in depth video when we get the real one. This was a pre-production vehicle which we only had for a very short time.

I'm really impressed with the new 5. I can't wait to drive it. My heart says 540i xDrive but my brain suggests the RWD 530i.

Hard to say without driving the i5. But if you need the space, the iX is likely the better option.

I got the current G30 and im already annoyed with many things. To less space in the door compartments, arm rest cant be highed adujusted, to many black parts with small scratches but one thing i was happy about were the knobs and not just displays with plenty of finger prints. Now even that is gone, and the space inside the doors are even smaller which is a shame for such a big car. Also the ambilighths in the back doors are gone now but instead of having it like it was, on all doors as hitten lights we now do have a visible bar. Sorry to say but the design is not that beautiful and this car now does have many senseless features instead of valuable characteristics. And how good the touch does work vs. a simple knob could be seen in the back when he tried to adjust the seat heater. Sorry BMW but if im not forced to take this car as next company car i will for sure choose the E class or maybe the brand new A6/7. This one here is designed for China with stupid "innovations".

I wanted BMW to make the side gill functional but they removed it... smh 🤦🏾 this is the most boring BMW, from a side view perspective. Nice front but the headlights got a little worse and the rear lights are getting better but they aren't BMW X6 better.

That steering wheel and that tablet style dashboard are extremly disturbing ugly. BMW lost its mind. BMW is synonim for sportiness,with this ugly interior they just killed it. They should look at Alfa and Audi and take notes how to make oldschool,but modern digital dash.
