I am so excited to announce that Megabass is launching 7 new models of P5 Destoyers! There are some revamps of familiar models as well as some totally fresh, new offerings from Megabass. And the fact that these are in Destroyer P5 - this is going to be amazing!

Griff, I fished that p5 destroyer bait finesse rod with the daiwa steez ct reel I picked up from you guys yesterday. That combo worked like a champ with 6lb line and the drop shot. Awesome combo, thanks for the advice brother!

I really appreciate all the information you share, my question I been trying to punch with a left hand reel ( Shimano DC) I have a lot of arthritis in my right hand and hard for me to set the hook. I wish the would make what I would call the Megabass Destroyer P5 Tequilla Baccarac +. That would be a Tequilla Baccarac that's rated for 50lb. Line and 1.5oz. To 5oz. Baits such as 8" swimbaits and Big frogs.

@@benjaminyang5872 dude, where did you find that rod? Haha I’m not seeing it anywhere. I didn’t like the USA Destroyer Oneten Special. I felt that it was too heavy, didn’t cast well, and it was too stiff. Was hoping the new P5 would excel in all my concerns. Idk about the 4.5 power though. I simply want a nice JDM jerkbait combo; even been eyeing the arms leggera too but I don’t think it’ll be worth it. The handle seems worthless too because no one grips it that way lol.

@@MitchItch got it from japan from eBay. Keep an eye out for them, they dont come around very often but they do show up. The taper is pretty close to USA 110 special. It balances better and is lighter in hand but like the USA 110 Special it doesn't casts the 1/2oz jerkbaits too well, but it does a little better job though. The USA 110 really shines at 5/8oz and above imo, it doesn't load up 1/2 oz very well. And yeah the balance on the 110 special... it was really designed to fish down. I might pick up the P5 version too but I'm really happy with the cyclone advantage. The X7 CA is a great rod. I highly recommend it if you can find it for small plastics, free rigs, jerks and up to small medium cranks. And it has a fricken dragon lmao. I love it.
