Rob Lowe (9-1-1: Lone Star) is taking The Floor as host and producer of FOX’s dynamic new quiz show, created by John de Mol’s Talpa (Big Brother, Deal or No Deal, The Voice). The Floor is a spectacular battle of the brains in which 81 contestants stand on 81 squares on a massive game show floor, competing for a whopping $250,000 prize.

Made it through like 4 contestants. They should have to answer each others specialized category. If my expert category is Tennis, and i challenge someone who expertise is veggies. We should have to answer questions about each others categories

No, because then the game would be too easy. If you decide to expand your category, you are facing their category. The game makes perfect sense.

The randomizer should really be re-calibrated to be random and not specifically designed to choose people right next to whoever was just chosen. It's making the show hard to watch for sure.

I just watched the 8 minute preview, and I can't wait. This game is a lot of fun to play at home. Vegetable lady didn't know all that much about tools. She didn't even know what nails were.

I’ve been watching this first season, but if it’s back I don’t think I would watch it again. One player had to play 6 games then gets knocked out by someone who played one game. The randomizer doesn’t seem random. Some players have to play every week while others haven’t played at all. So you can play one or two rounds and win it all. Kind of BS. Plus the guy who played 6 rounds never got to rest.

Too many players (hard to stay interested if game doesn't end by end of show). Not enough prizes (should win $2,000 with every territory win minimum). Make staying up on stage worth it (double their reward with a win) instead of hiding back on the Floor. I'd cut the # of players to 12-32, incentive players to stay up with a rule requiring minimum number of games played. Ppl with territories should be able to stay alive once after a loss (but they lose the $). Incentivize risk imo, reward aggressive play. The opposite exists with the current rules.

I was getting into this game until I seen already unfairness and I hope I wasn't the only one that seen it,the cereal battle the guy said smacks not honey smacks so to me that shouldn't have been a point I will look at the next 2 c if it was corrected and if not dropped 😮

Yeah - this will get canned quickly. It's going to get crushed by America's Got Talent: Fantasy League and reruns of Murderers in the Building and NCIS Sydney. Watch this show get buried on Saturdays within 2-3 weeks..

I'd have liked it if it was an actual quiz, but it appears dumbed down into a "say what you see" type format
