Already happily using a Spirit, but I fully intend to pick one of these up. Using an Aston for vocals on gigs (among other things) is a dream.

*Micro muy transparente y sonido con mucho detalle. **do7.pl/AstonMic** Capta con mucha facilidad cualquier imperfección de la sala en la que grabes, así que es recomendable (y muy necesario) un mínimo de acondicionamiento acústico.Aunque el fabricante diga que incorpora una especie de "pop Filter" dentro de la cápsula (es una fina capa de fibra) es necesario el uso de uno externo adicional.Tiene un poco de tendencia a exagerar el seseo a la hora de grabar voces.. Nada grave, pero el uso posterior de un deesser es casi inevitable.Lo he usado en voces masculinas y femeninas y también como micro de ambiente para grabar un kit de batería y me ha sorprendido gratamente. Vale cada céntimo que cuesta.He probado multitud de micros y en mi opinión es de lo mejor que hay en su gama de precios y las inmediatamente superiores.Para mi el siguiente escalón sería un TLM103, pero ya hablamos de un micrófono que cuesta el triple más o menos.*

When he starts singing @13:56 the "Oh Momma" distorts? was that are the interface or was that the microphone distorting? this example here is legit one of the main reasons I haven't purchased this microphone, I was pretty excited about this mic too as I own the Aston Spirit and it's amazing.

I’m not sure if those are distortions. Try listening once more while watching the direction he is looking to. Every time it seems you hear distortions, he is looking upwards, his face is really close to the mic and a part of the brilliance in the sound gets lost, that is not really typical for clipping I would say. There has to be another reason for this strange sound. Maybe he was just to close to the capsule so the characteristics produced some phase interference. The mic itself should be able to handle up to 140dB if I got it right.

Probably a great mic and I will definitely test it, but not without a pop filter for vocals. Both the female and male vocals had way too much plosives for studio recordings.

On my phone, guitar was a bit quiet. On a bluetooth speaker, it was fine! Great review though and I can't wait to test mine out!

Where’s the stage jazz diva mic? V2 setting has quite a top buzz on (female) vocal, and wind pop on spoke word? Nice guitar tone. Lovin’ J’s sweet sweet reviews, which I know, aren’t easy to produce. Cheers team Andertons!

I have a particularly poppy/poopy mouth so that's my bad BUT still could just play it safe and use it with a normal pop shield. Think that's what I'd do. Thanks for watching mate and good spot Xx
