Isn't amazing how God leads us to the things we sometimes don't even realize we need or want. Sometimes it is too bad we don't always have the maturity to appreciate the journey until we are there and planted. @@alenaB I have a small raised bed in my backyard. I learned last season that 100% miracle grow makes beautiful flowers and no veggies lol. Too much nitrogen. Never had a coop or egg laying chickens. Someone has coops for sale right off the hwy 64 somewhere around Coal Hill. I need to stop by.

I always like old homesteads because you never know the goodies that are left. They put all that work into a enjoyable outdoor space that you get to enjoy. Those raised beds may be filled with flower bulbs. I guess you'll know by spring. I would be praying over and anointing that house as well. Great choice with the music in this video.

Welcome to Arkansas! We live in the Ozarks between Norfork and Bull Shoals lakes! The north side of our property touches the Missouri state line. We moved here in 1998 and have not regretted it for a moment! We bought a one room log cabin with a loft and the bathroom was on the porch! Haha! My husband added on, but it's still cozy. We weren't inconvenienced much when the electricity went out 2 weeks ago - Our woodstove kept us warm, the hot tub gave us water to flush the toliet (it's inside now), oil lamps gave us light, our 1950s Tappan range kept us well fed, and 2 coolers filled with snow on the porch kept our food cold. We kept a pot of coffee hot all day on the woodstove. Our daughter lives close by, she owns Bruce Creek Sawmill and keeps us supplied with firewood. She is also watching your channel! Have fun living in this beautiful state!!

Goat skull or not, praying over a new home is crucial. I know this from first hand experience. I used to not believe that spirits attached themselves to places, but I've since learned that they can. Our current house sat uninhabited for years before we bought it as a fixer-upper. We later learned from neighbors that it was used as a drug house. The previous owners created strongholds and left spiritual "things" behind. We've had some interesting stuff happen here. When e realized what as going on, we anointed all doorways in our home and our family members, and prayed. The Father has taught me so much through all of this. I will always anoint a new home going forward. I hope you have found a Torah observant community near you. Sabbath blessings to you and your family.

What a beautiful place! I can see why one would want sitting areas everywhere. I would have a hard time staying in the house because of the beauty outside. Our imagination would go wild.

Wow! I had to put this video on full screen view to get that amazing view! I would imagine that being so close to the water mosquitos would be an issue, thus the bat houses make perfect sense. Those beds next to the house would be great place for herbs. What a beautiful piece of property. I had no idea that Arkansas was so beautiful. Congratulations on your new Governor! I'd move there just for that reason. She is a true gem.

Normally it is still water that is the biggest issue for mosquitoes. But we are in the woods, so it is automatically going to be a bugfest, LOL It is a little early since she was just elected. But I hope she lives up to or exceeds the expectations. ;)

That's how we felt after 40 years in the same house..... moved out of the city to the mountains last summer and still settling in and fixing up but it was the property that got me. You have such a beautiful place. I lived in Southern Missouri for 20 years. Loved the land. When gardening we just had rocks on rocks. I had to use raised beds. Never got any carrots to go. Good luck with your beds. Hope you will be happy in the new place.

Welcome to Arkansas!! Y'all's place is awesome! I live near Hardy. I word of advice living in the woods, get familiar with the sounds in nature. we do have bears, black panthers and cougars as well as many other smaller animals. Also there has been many reports of bigfoot being spotted near your area, so you might want to put up some game cameras. You may not believe me but once you hear the screams you will.

WOW! What a gorgeous homestead!! My heart took a leap when I spotted that Jewel T bowl sitting on an upper shelf in the kitchen. My Grandmother's collection was massive!! I've often wished that my Mother had not sold that collection as it was one of my favorites. Guess I need to start searching for pieces and start my own collection. Looking forward to seeing all the clean up you'll be doing on the property - - LOVE all those stone benches, beds and that outdoor grill area! So excited for you and your family!! 🙂

Thank you. There's a smaller one inside there as well. They belonged to my husband's great grandmother. I do see them all the time in antique shops. As a matter of fact, I saw what looked like an entire set a couple months ago. There were pieces I had never seen before. :)
