I love this radio. The flexibility is great. Once you get used to the menu and which keys to press it’s a good radio to use. Makes a nice size with the car kit. All works well. I’ve been out with the car kit in the car and you’ll see my next video that the car kit for me, is better than installing a standard cb in the car 👍

This using the car kit is actually illegal if you go by the new laws new laws limit CB to 4w on handheld stations

That’s a very difficult question. I prefer the hp62 in the car with the car kit, but as a hand held, I think I prefer the hp82. This is almost the same as the thunderpole, but i prefer the hp82 over the thunderpole due to the screen layout. 👍

So I don’t understand I’ve just got mine and out the box it’s on low should I set it to high but I’ve seen a video saying on high it’s 10 watts I’ve got no way of testing it what should I do please keep it on low or set it to high

If you’re using it in battery I would put it on high so it will run in 4 watts. It only goes to to 10 watts if you use the car adapter. I have just made a video on this and it will come out on Sunday. Hopefully that will show you more. Let me know if you need anymore info. It’s a great radio.

@@Shack-time mine won’t turn to high I’ve tried my pressing ptt and asq my model says pni escort hp 62 de I don’t know what that’s even means but it definitely won’t go on to high the low doesn’t disappear
