Interesting! If there's a way to tactically un-thaw the map while your opponents' army is crossing the ice, that is also interesting. :3 This kinda reminds me of like...the 2000's PC games? Specifically how the game Sacrifice let you lop off pieces of the map with magic. Big, map-altering stuff. (Of course, y'all seem to have that too, so this is just shaping up to be a grand time :D)

Coh 2 had water freeze too. Apart from few missions in campaign, it has no uses. Just dust in the eyes.

I hope there's ways for players to intentionally trigger this A smaller unit that can freeze a small part around it when stationary, can be a fun way to create a land bridge for ambushes. Likewise, destroying said units to sink the incoming ambush would feel great.

There will be a way to trigger it. I believe its activated by capturing/destroying a weather control station. A lot of this is dependent on Kickstarter being successful.
