I totally want this book. I vaguely remember this arc from my preteen years but I never read any of it. The art looks gorgeous. I hope they reprint the previous two. I just learned yesterday that marvel licensed it’s characters to their guys that bounced to image for a time.

Thanks for the video! I have the Heroes Reborn omnibus which I haven't read yet but which seems quite straightforward as it is just issues 1-12 for each character. This seems more like a collection of tie-ins and only for completionists although I am interested in the return miniseries.

"Onslaught Unleashed" had previously been collected as a thin OHC. It was also the 3rd part of a sort of trilogy by writer Sean McKeever. The 1st part was "Nomad: Girl Without A World," a 4-part mini about Rikki Barnes by McKeever and David Baldeon. It was only collected in a digest-size collection. The 2nd part was "Young Allies," a 6-part mini that continued Rikki's story along with a new team also by McKeever/Baldeon that was collected in a standard tpb. The story concluded with "Onslaught Unleashed" by McKeever and Filipe Andrade. It's too bad those first two parts weren't included in this Omnibus, but page count was likely an issue. Really appreciate the preview!

I remember when the whole Heroes Reborn happened. My friends and I were amazed they were just wiping out half the Marvel universe by starting over with this mainstay characters (this was before Al Gore invented the internet and we could discuss it online with others) . The rumors were this was a permanent change but eventually you could see this was nothing more than a money grab from Marvel by cashing in on the Image boys reputation. I stopped buying the Reborn titles but did buy the Return mini series and it is surprisingly a good read. Not sure If I'm willing to spend a Benjamin Franklin on the entire saga though. But thanks for satisfying my curiosity on what's in this Omni.

I think this a great mini. As a huge fan of Avengers and FF during this time, it’s not necessary reading. Just know the characters are back. But those uncollected issues of Thunderbolts really help sell this book.

1100-some pages...So it's the 4-issue Heroes Return mini-series, and then 900-some pages of 'Return to the Heroes Reborn Universe' stories from the next 10 years? Hm... I have the Heroes Reborn Omnibus, because that is pure nostalgia for me, and the art in this book did look good, but I'm not sure I can justify this...
