I also didn’t care much for the mojo episode but in hindsight its placement was perfect. The first four episodes were really setting the show up to be like the original show but a bit more grown up. And then episode five came along as the gut punch to say haha just kidding f you

10yo - Exposure to X-Men through the original TAS 11yo - my first english manga was the manga adaptation of TAS.. got couple volume.. lost em.. still sadge 16yo - bought first western comic X-Man (Nate), imagine how lost i was reading that 24yo - bought 1st collected ed Astonishing X-men OHC n New X-men Omni.. started earnestly reading x-men from here This show really did X-Men justice ❤

I give it a an 8. Some episodes were great, others were a little bit of a drag and too convoluted. Also I didn’t like that Storm was not more of a central character, which at first I thought she was going to be. Episode 6 was great though. But overall it was a good series, and the animation and the colors were popping.

Omar I know from your room tour that u don't collect a lot of planet of the apes but I have finished all of the movies from the 2010s and the original 70s movies. I would love it if you could do a reading order for both timelines. And this is optional but you could also do a reading order for the tim burpen movie tie in comics.

I hope this format thrives. I absolutely love this and I wish DC had been doing these types of compendiums all along. Just huge, thick-a$$ bricks of comics. No nonsense of skinny little trades released over a decade that never even finish a series, just COMICS. Finally. (Also, sorry omnibus fans, but I do prefer the readability of the softcovers vs. hardback.)
