I've the limited edition DETOX (not fakes - bought them off an official retailer listed on official beats site), back when Monster made beats cans and absolutely love them. Respect to Mike for unashamedly showing his love for beats as it sure pulls all the beats bandwagon beats haters out of the woodwork. Beats haters are the worst types of audio snobbery around and pretty boring to say the least - we've heard all their criticism before. Good video Mike and keep the beats rolling for the beats fans - don't be put off by the bandwagon beats haters - haters always gonna hate ;)

I was spewing that the Detox ones aren't on the market anymore. But when I saw these on the market, I was happy! The only difference between these and the Detox edition is these have a 'whiter' Beats logo and on the top it doesn't say Detox. Overall, these look really good in the black finish! I was having trouble deciding to get the white ones or the white & black ones when there were only two color options. Now these black ones are the ones I WILL be getting. They look so good!

LITTLE WRITTEN REVIEW FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING PURCHASING THESE In the past I've only owned Studio 1 Beats and Studio 2 Beats. Don't know about Studio 3's so they won't be mentioned. I got Pros 2 days ago and have listened to them for several hours and I will say so far I love them. They're better than the Studios to point where I would say extra money is worth if you can afford them. Now honestly if you're like me and you've been listenin to Studio Beats for a while the sound quality of these isn't going to blow you away simple because Studio Beats and pretty good themselves and you'll already at that point be use to high quality sound, however I can say bass sounded a bit better with the Pros. I will also say the Pros are WAY more comfortable than the Studios. Studio Beats have an oval shaped earcup where pros have a large circular cup that just fells better after extensive periods of time wearing them. Pros are heavier than Studios but they're also built very well to where the extra weight doesn't cause any real discomfort. Pro's are also not as huge as they may seem to be. Until you're actually holding them in your hands they may look way bigger than Studios in pictures or videos online but I assure you they're not. The main difference is the larger circular earcups that I menioned before other than that if you find Studios a comfortable size and fit you'll for sure like these just as well. Another thing is these headphones are basically like 2 stereos on your head in the sense they don't require batteries like Stuido 1's or a recharge after hours of use like Studio 2's, you literally just plug them in and listen, this to me is huge plus as having to change out batteries with Studio 1's can get annoying and the Studio 2's battery life before a charge is needed always seemed pretty short to me. In conclusion theses headphones get a 5/5 from me however it comes with an asterisk because these headphones are still new to me what has yet to be determined is how durable they are and how they'll hold up over time. After about 2 years my Studio 2's earcups leather started to rip and crack to the point where the form on the inside was completely exposed. Depending on whether the Pros last with no problems or at least no major issues with the earcups or headband will determine whether the headphones will keep a 5/5 from me. Overall they're a solid pair a headphones and of course a great looking pair of headphones. If you can afford them I'd go with them over any version of the Studios as you won't have to worry about batteries or a power source to keep charged, they're more comfortable, and sound a little better.

I have had them for about 5 years (forgot I had them recently). Was about to buy new $300 headphones but nothing sounded as good as I was used to, It was weird. Why did I not think these 2016 $300 headphones are amazing... then I remembered I had the Pros! Sound quality can't be beat by cheaper/newer headphones. I love them. Even today you will have to spend higher to get better.

You can actually contact Apple customer service and have them generate a serial code for you. Just say that one of your drivers aren't working or something. But the serial code that they give you doesn't have warranty(as you'd expect).

The New Matte black studios are wireless and much more lighter but it's made out of plastic(?) material and pro's are very heavy so you can't really wear them too long. But they dont need battery and they are made of metal which is more durable. I would go for the new black studios since they are cheaper and wireless.

They are louder than the studios but buy them only on h.s.n cause eBay and anywhere else are fakes. If you plug them into a cell phone it won't be louder then a laptop and even louder if plugged into a home stereo sound system... Just got mine 2 weeks ago.

For everyone talking about how beats suck...... You're right. They are not as great as one would expect for 400$, but remember, they're targeted towards the average consumer. Not everyone in the world is a freaking audiophile. On top of that, you have to give to Dre. The reason so many people buy beats is because of how much of advertising and marketing beats does. Seriously. If any of the good brands (Beyerdynamic, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, etc...) did half the advertising Beats did, nobody would buy beats again. But they don't. AT ALL. That's why most people buy Beats, whether it be a fashion accessory or an actual piece of listening apparatus. So you beats haters can suck it. Even if you know its garbage, know why people buy beats. Besides, Beats is starting to make better products. Their new studios are actually worth 300$ for once, I own a pair of them and they are genuinely worth it (After continuously using it for two months, mind you. Takes a bit of time to get them to be burned in. All in time.).
