Sweet! Huge fan of the Starcross line. The intermediate tire is fantastic. I’d take them over Dunlop anyway because they last so much longer

Hey Michael, any weights available? The Starcross 5 tires were extremely lightweight...i'm curious if this transferred over to the new Starcross 6 as well!

They didn’t have weights available on hand. Sounds like Ike they may have gone up ever so slightly on weight from the 5s.

Thanks for review , heard Andy on pulp mx talking about the starcross 6, if it's anything like a Mitas CO2 stone king I will buy one they are the best tyre in the world from my 35 yrs riding for hard dirt rock.

I tried the Starcross 5 soft front and at first I liked it but as the broke in I found the sidewalls too flexy, even thought the tire was flat on occasion, and would have to increase the pressure 1-2psi. If not for ultra HD tubes I'm sure I would have had plenty of pinch flats. I like the mx33 a lot better. Do you know if they stiffened the sidewalls at all?

try the starcross medium instead of the soft as that's the direct competitor to the mx33. I run the soft offroad and it's the best performing tyre I've ever used but gets destroyed on hardpack or rock

Don't sleep on the TUSK tires I put some of them through absolute hell for about 10 hours with moose inserts to bash through everything and theyre still looking new! $100 bucks for front and rear!

What conditions did you ride in? I had starcross 5 and it gave me amazing traction in wet slick conditions even when it was pretty nald

what kind??? soft, medium or hard. Won't lie the soft chunks out quick on anything hard but it's the best performing tyre I've ever used for soft conditions

They seem a lot better then starcross 5, personally I hated the starcross 5 because it felt like the rear was constantly loosing grip and sliding out and the front didn’t bite at all, I tried all different tyre pressures on different tracks and nothing worked especially in winter where it’s knee deep in ruts in the uk. But Michelin I would say is the biggest in the uk. For me Dunlop mx33f and a mx33 or mx12 was the ticket in any condition at any pressure and I felt so much faster because I wasn’t worrying about grip, which for me personally is very important as I’m super comfortable. Maybe I’ll give the star cross 6 a try this year mid/soft but I’m pretty sure I’m going to stick with the Dunlop unless they impress me.
