I would use this amp at the settings you used around 16 minutes. I need it to clean up enough and be touch sensitive. I would just use a boost or drive pedal to get the extra gain live.

Ok I'm not going to sing it's praises. The clean is steller but there is a fizzy noise that comes out when the amp is overdriven. Fender needs to address this issue. It's hard to ignore once it's heard. Listen to the overdriven sections of this video. It's extra noise that is not pleasing. Great demo, but Fender, fix the noise. It's not a pure sound that the amp is capable of. Probably the speaker. My buddy has had a few of these handwired Princeton amps and has sent them back because of the extra noise. Better speaker fixed the issue.

That does sound great. 2k is too rich for me though. I'd rather get a beat up old vintage one and give it a good recap. The bass is nice on this though. It can go to 11 without turning to mush. Unlike the regular Princetons..

I found one of these used with an alnico gold and popped a Swart Nite Lite attenuator in it. Works great for bedroom level. It TOTALLY can keep up w a drummer tho. Great amp
