These are great when using 2 amps...

I have a 2012 LP standard, came with burstbucker pros. They are so treble heavy, and lack the midrange attack of the 498T. I swapped out the bridge for a 498, but kept the neck stock. Love the bark of the 498, through cranked Marshall.

We think of Marshall amps as being the sound of this era but in reality those amps at that time were mostly clean amps at studio volume and these pedals really did most of the work
