Best vacuum I have ever owned. I have had this Robot vacuum for 2 month. It has worked perfectly. I have not had to use my manual vacuum since owning this robot vaccum. I just use a broom to hit the edges every couple of weeks so the robot can pick up the dust from the corners.

All, go on Amazon the older models like the XV-11 and this new model are ALL THE SAME! just different paint choices, the Brush head AND the Filter is different! Neato sells the Brush head and better filters (Purple) separate so you can upgrade your older XV-11 the older model XV-11 sells for as little as $250 USD? in some stores..? online I think Costco had a awesome sale at one point with all sorts of extra filters and brushes too for like $250 but that's long gone... The signature series fixed s lot of issues the older xv bots had, like hair getting stuck in the motor that spins the brush roll

Hopefully you've found your answer by now. The only difference between the two is the filter and brush.

I was about to buy a robot vacuum that I noticed, before purchasing, only uses suction at the bottom (it does not have a roller brush). Do you think it could still work as well? There are no reviews of it yet (hovo 600). I would be interested to see how effective a vacuum might be without a roller brush. Can anyone tell me if there's any video (or any info) out there that compares a roller brush technology robot vacuum to one without? Whichever one sucks the best I'll get. Thank you It looks like this Neato might be the best anyways btw

Your con is really because Neato takes a pragmatic approach to how it cleans (i.e. personality)? Sorry, the whole purpose of buying Neato over the competitors is specifically due to its practical application. I much prefer the lawn-mower approach to cleaning. Forget the whole randomness of the others; it makes my head spin. And yes, I've owned both types.
