Pagani knocking it out of the park again. They've come so far especially in terms of finishing in the last year or two.

This one isn't their best dial work, compared to the PD-1784, but the brushing is nice. Still a little bit of slop at the transitions between polished and brushed, but the uniformity of brushing seems good at first glance.

I got a Pagani in February. 37 dollars. It’s my most accurate watch. Yesterday I scraped it against a brick wall and no scratch. The sapphire is real.

I like the color of that sky blue, but the indices didn't seem to be a good contrast, though. But I like that they kept that same color across all 4 colors.

Thank you my dear friend for your channel that I support for you bring forth excellent work and information with your in depth reviews. The watch is overall nice looking however I do not care much for the brand name and less for quartz movement as I try my best to avoid it and only have very few quartz movements and my preference is the automatic movements which are about 97 percent of my number of watches, mostly San Martin. Congratulations for bringing forth the element of caring consistent work and yes good energy to said work that is so essential. Rick

I usually prefer these sweeping quartz over a standard quartz, unless the standard hits every marker precisely! I'm a freak like that.

The proportions make it resemble a dive watch at first glance. The push-pull crown is kind of a bummer, but with a quartz movement, sapphire crystal and solid stainless construction, it should basically last forever if you're not too rough with it.

I'm actually surprised this is push/pull. Screw down would have been a nice touch. Like you said, still solid for the price, though.

Why does it need a screw down crown? It's not a dive watch. Pagani depth test their watches too - one of the few Ali brands who actually do it.

@@st4ndaman For me it's less about water resistance and more about general ruggedness. Having the crown threaded on makes it a lot stronger, and I've broken the crown off a watch before, so I'm a little leery of that.

Yeah, they kept the same fauxtina across all dial colors. I like the contrast against the white on the dial, but I think you're right that a second version would've been nice, too.

What aftermarket strap is that on the Hroudland. That butterfly is sweet.

That's from Juelong on AliExpress. Great strap! Cut to fit. Every now and then one side of the butterfly clasp comes loose. Thankfully that's not enough for it to slip off my wrist. So, it's beautiful and functional, but tolerance is a little off.

They did a nice job! I like this size for good unisex wearability, and the weight is comfortable on wrist, especially with the smaller bracelet and clasp.

Not that I know of. You should try sweeping quartz sometime, if not this watch maybe another. You'll still miss that "bond" you have with a mechanical, but it looks good and is super accurate.

I'm pretty sure you would like the Pagani PD-YS005 (I think the v3 is the more recent model). Same "Seamaster like" but with no grainy texture, sandwiched, auto movement

@SgtDuster I just stumbled across that watch today and was going to write back here...thanks for getting the info before I could. Yes, the V3 is no date, so the dial has the similar 12/3/6/9 numerals. And @tonydilucente2342 should know that it's not identical to this one, as it's a dive style watch, so there's a bezel. I like that sandwich dial better, though, except for the PD signature.

In my observation and criteria be it good or bad I honestly see the Pagani design PD 1793 and 99 percent of their watches at a 5 out of 10 scale..

So, I did wear it to bed last night. The lume ALMOST made it legible when I woke up about 5 hours later. I couldn't make out where the hour hand was. I wear glasses during waking hours, though, to be fair.

It's weird. I think so much of the watch industry is "that's been done before" so it comes off as common ground. There's only so many ways to make a round dial with hands and time telling indices. But, yes, I hear what you're saying about homage pieces. It also could be that they're just enough unlike the original that it's not worth pursuing. It's a strange genre for sure.

Fair enough! Like I mentioned in the video, I don't think it's as much of an issue as it used to be. BUT I don't have a single 19mm strap....and I've got TONS of 20mm! So, maybe it IS more of a big deal than I think. Interesting, the retail version when you buy it from the link in description includes their usual black/gray striped NATO as a bonus 2nd strap. (I didn't get one because they were in a rush to send out for video.) I wonder if it's 19mm???

Lovely watch. Issue is that they look Almost a carbon copy of an the homaged watch. Thieves might confused it with the real thing. Probably a very short sized thief but you know what I mean. But it is great brands do these kind of watches so people can buy them when they can't afford the real thing. A thef would be very disappointed if they steal this instead of the real thing.

​​@@Area_man115maybe... At a glance really looks like an omega. I am not sure it is worth the hassle. Trying to explain to the thief it is not an omega. It is a chinese brand . You really need to have a great sight. Again it is not a Pagani design. It is an omega design. And maybe not even Omega. But Pagani has to stop using the word design. It is not their design. Maybe it is about time they do so. IL mean design their own watches. Then they can use that word. Still the branding is more suitable for a car than a watch. I think there is a car brand called Pagani... And if there isn't maybe it should... .
