I have this for my PS4. They’re super comfortable and the bass boost mode is amazing. As far as how he sounded on the mic, I don’t think he adjusted his volume on his PS4 settings. This is a must whenever you buy any headset. Especially wireless.

Turtle Beach 450 - $80 7.1 surround sound 4 sound presets (bass boost, vocal boost, normal, treble boost) detachable mic (great audio) (haven't tested over gameplay w/ others, unknown about that) dual game/chat wheel adjuster 50-foot range 2.4ghz dongle comes with 3.5 mm line hidden wires (no wire showing outside of headphones) seems like turtle beach offers more features for similar pricing. Not saying they're bad, never had any experience with PDF products.

One thing I've got to point out for people on this headset. I recently picked up the PS4 version, and PDP sent me an email responding to the fact that there is no indicator to let you know when the battery is fully charged. The amber charging light continuously pulses, and never stops. To me, having an indicator when fully charged should be just assumed. This is such a basic thing, I've NEVER had a headset not tell me when it's charged. How this got past the design stage to me is just baffling.

All wireless headset mics suck they share bandwidth with the audio being sent to the headset so the mic audio get horribly compressed

I think the mic sound good not great but then again you get what you pay for So that’s solid. I’m not sure if I should buy the PDP or Sony gold headset. It’s about the same price point. Great review btw.

I have this exact headset, it just turned off on me. It was charged, it didn’t do the beeps when it was low. It just died and it won’t charge, the charger works for my controller but not my headset. I haven’t thrown it around or tossed it anywhere. It just stopped now it won’t work. Pretty shitty

The GameStop salesman kinda got me into buying these and i thought it’ll be great but then then I got home put them on and first thing first the mic was horrible, people couldn’t hear me and when I’ll put the mic closer they’ll just hear my breathing haha smh the mic cord broke after 3 months of ownership wouldn’t recommend.

These are pretty good. I had theses since December it’s may rn. And throughout these month when I move the headset wire it makes a glitching sound. Next, the mic filter got a hole in it and the sound quality is good but also the mic quality is pretty okay . It’s good for 60 bucks but, don’t expect them to sound like a good streamer headset.

The ps headset doesnt have the game chat wheel because ps has their game and chat sounds in the settings menu on the console.

I have had the wireless stingers for 3 months so may be able to help. They have a great build, sound and the mic is great. Typical hyper X quality thats very tough to beat for the price. The draw back is that theres no game/chat balance dial and you can only play when wireless... theres no 3.5mm wired option unfortunately though I've been getting a solid 14 hours out of them personally. Hope this helped.

I just tried the cloud 2s. Not worth it for ps4. The 7.1 surround doesnt work well. Inline control panel doesnt work, so you can't turn them up very loud. My old pdp krals were excellent and the lvl 50s are pretty much the exact same. Amazing positional accuracy.

Im not too sure, but on Xbox you have that "Audio" part in the Menu, where you can calibrate Chat-Game sound in digital way. I think PlayStation doesn't have that. So why would they add a feature throughout a Headset and not a System Update..?

David, Playstation does actually have that option but it is so much more convenient to just change the audio with the flick of a dial during competitive moments rather than to hold the home button, and navigate through the “quick menu” to try and balance out voice and game volume. if you know what I mean.
